Nick Cannon stands up against hate in the powerful video for “Die Young,” the first single off his upcoming album, due later this year. In the black-and-white visuals, the rapper/actor cries out for teens who were bullied because of their looks or sexual orientation. A shirtless Nick stands against a wall as he is stoned by bullies while tears roll down his face.
“Both the video and the song are deeply personal, and the track addresses real issues that so many people deal with each day,” explained Nick.

Kicks On Court: Nick Young Rocks Ndestrukts in Rodman’s Old Stomping Grounds

Los Angeles Clippers wingman Nick Young garnered an abundance of interest during the Clippers vs. Grizzlies series by consistently wearing the “Metallic Red” Nike Air Foamposite One. Yet, many of our Kicks On Court nominees that are still playing switch sneakers every now and then. In the opener of the Clippers vs. Spurs series, Nick Young debuted the Nike Air Max Shake Evolve Ndestrukt, a sneaker that is inspired by the Dennis Rodman-endorsed Nike Air Shake Ndestrukt that released in 1996. Its distinctive elements include an enlarged swoosh on the midfoot area and a lacing construction on the medial side. A couple of Air Max Shake Evolve Ndestrukt colorways hit select retailers about two months ago. The West Coast rhymer says that he and Drizzy could be collaborating on a project, but B wouldn’t elaborate too much on what the duo have been working on. “Yeah, we’re about to do something real big,” B told Fuse. “I can’t speak on it too much right now, but Drake is the only artist [Lil B] wants to work with. We’ve talked about doing some production.” Lil B says that Drake is just as excited about their working together. “[Drake] wants to do something and we’re gonna make it happen,” he added. “Something real big, so just look out for it.” |
