Young Scooter Pens Handwritten Letter To Fans From Jail
May 20th

By Maurice Bobb
If you wanted to know how Atlanta rapper Young Scooter was doing while serving time in Dekalb County Jail on probation violation, wonder no more. The Brick Squad 1017 representer wrote a heartfelt letter to all his fans from lockup to thank them for their support, to let them know his release date and, of course, to promote his upcoming mixtape, Street Lottery 2.
“I apologize to all my fans I miss everyone of you although I don’t wanna be here but once you in there’s nowhere to go,” Young Scooter wrote in a letter posted by Miss Info TV. “My release date September 27 but the county can release me anyday before then on good behavior. Yall made “Street Lottery” biggest mixtape in the streets appreciate that. Street Lottery 2 drop July 4th.”

The “Columbia” MC goes on to reveal the featured guests on his highly-anticipated project, which includes Wale, Bun B and recent cellmate, Gucci Mane, who was released on May 2 after posting a ,000 bond.
“I got features from Cam’ron, Birdman, Ross, Gucci, Future,” Scooter wrote, before signing off with “Count Up.”

In addition to his endearing words, the rapper born Kenneth Edward Bailey dropped a new song, “I Wonder,” which was recorded behind bars.
Are you excited about Young Scooter’s upcoming Street Lottery 2 mixtape?

Gucci Mane ft. Young Thug – “BreakDance” [VIDEO]
May 17th
At this point, it’s safe to assume that Gucci Mane is willing to release any and every track from his forthcoming Trap House 3 project prior to its release. He’s dropped three in the past week, and returns today with a visual for another titled “BreakDance.”
Don’t be alarmed, though. Gucci doesn’t have a Boogaloo Shrimp bone in his body. In this case, the term “BreakDance” is associated with whipping work and other forms of thuggery.
“Backstabbed so many people that my brother won’t even pass the blunt to me/ Lord I hope that he forgives me, but f**k that n***a. That’s history/ Yeah f**k n***a I stole your phone. Hope that ends your mystery,” raps Gucci. That’s the epitome of cold blooded.
Director Cricket captured the Atlanta rapper and his recent Brick Squad signee Young Thug in front of a few random backdrops. It’s nothing special really.
Trap House 3 will be available on iTunes May 21. See the vid for “BreakDance” below.

Fucking Young! “Floral Studio” Editorial
May 17th

There are already signs that floral motifs have been reclaimed by menswear, recalling times past when pattern-heavy kits were standard fare. That is: ‘basics’ have become ubiquitous throughout men’s fashion, and claims of focus on “fit” and “utility” – without much imagination – have run amuck. Here comes Fucking Young!’s “Floral Studio” editorial, which showcases the bold floral and tribal patterning of street favorites such as Carhartt, Denim Demon, and Fred Perry. Lightweight essentials such as blazers, casual shirts, and chinos are given bright color treatments and properly layered for any given situation. View select highlights above, and be sure to head over to Fucking Young! for the full photo set.
