First they taught us to “Ball,” and now T.I. and Lil Wayne live the fast life in the Phillyflyboy-directed video for “Wit Me.” The Hustle Gang chief and Young Money boss race fast cars through Miami, cruise on yachts with bikini-clad babes, and lead the police on a high-speed chase.
The Lil C-produced track serves as the kickoff to the “America’s Most Wanted Music Festival,” which launches July 9 and runs until September 1.
T.I. is officially a free agent. The song is being released independently via his digital Hustle Gang imprint, distributed through EMPIRE Distribution.
Historically, T.I. and Lil Wayne collaborations are very solid. They added another to the cannon with “Ball” in 2012, and return today with a jamming record called “Wit Me.”
Fans received a sampling when the song was previewed last week. It’s apparent that the duo aims for summer anthem status now that hear the record in its entirety. The Kang and Weezy take a beat with hypnotic synths and bouncy drums to task, and do a solid job trading potent bars in the process.
“Wit Me” will promote T.I. and Wayne’s upcoming “America’s Most Wanted” Music Festival, which has seen a few changes since the initial announcement of the show bill. Most notably, Future has been replaced by 2 Chainz and French Montana.
In an interview with MTV, Tip explained that there was no love lost for the “Karate Chop” rapper. “It was Future, something happened and Future pulled — he disassociated himself from the tour for whatever reason, and it’s still love — ain’t no problem with that. Now Chainz on there.”
Expect a visual treatment for “Wit Me” to premiere tonight at 10 p.m. EST on VEVO, as the song will be available on iTunes at midnight.

“All that ass.” That was Lil Wayne’s astute observation of Nicki Minaj’s assets after sitting in a chair onstage as she gyrated and worked her ample caboose while lapdancing on the YMCMB CEO during her sexy performance of “High School” on the 2013 Billboard Music Awards Sunday (May 19) night at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
After starting off the live broadcast with a win for top rap artist, the Queen of the Barbz, dressed in ripped skin-tight black tights, gold spiked jacket and Chanel baseball cap, returned near the end of the telecast for a duet performance of the Weezy-assisted third single from her sophomore LP, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up.
Animated and writhing like a nymph with her dancers, the Pink Friday femcee served up her verse with sultry authority before Tunechi entered stage right dressed in a white muscle shirt and pants with one leg pulled up to offer up his guest lyrics. For the encore, Minaj ushered a very nervous Wayne into his own private throne, straddled him and worked her voluptuous derrière for her boss better than the strippers at Miami’s King of Diamonds.
Although Wayne said he was “the luckiest guy in the world,” the whole ordeal had to be nerve-racking for the Carter IV mogul, who thinks of the “American Idol” judge more as a sister than an exotic temptress.
“He refused to touch me, he’s so respectful, he refused to touch me, and then I was like, ‘Wayne,’ I was like, ‘You could do this.’ But he was acting scared, like, ‘Yo, Nick, this is my dream. I’m gonna be a man after this video.’ He was just being crazy,” Minaj told MTV News last month. “But if I didn’t tell him ‘Yes, you can do this’ or ‘touch this,’ he refused to do it, like he’s a southern gentlemen, which people don’t realize.”

Ass, ass, ass. Nicki Minaj showed off her most famous asset during her booty-ful performance at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday. The voluptuous rap diva, who won three awards including Top Rap Album, took the stage to perform her single “High School” with Lil Wayne. She even gave Weezy a lap dance that left a priceless expression on his face.
The Young Money boss summed it up best. “All that ass,” he said.

KID FAB: Reginae Carter GRADUATES From Middle School, Lil’ Wayne & Toya Wright CELEBRATE + Reggie Bush & Lilit Avagyan WELCOME Baby Girl Briseis!
Lil’ Wayne, Birdman and Toya Wright all turned up to watch Reginae Carter graduated middle school. See the pics inside and find out what Reggie Bush named his baby girl.
Reginae Carter, the daughter of hip-hop king Lil’ Wayne and Toya Wright is growing up! The Paparazzi Princesses author AND honor roll student graduated middle school this week with her mom, Toya Wright and dad, Lil’ Wayne there to cheer her on.
Proud mama Toya shared a few pics on instagram or her mom and family friends saying, "I’m so proud of my angel. Honor Roll student on her way to highschool. Beauty and Brains. #proudmama"
Memphitz was there to cheer on Reginae as well.
And taking a page out of Russell and Kimora’s blended family book, everyone got together and posed for a great family photo: Lil’ Wayne, Toya, Birdman (with daughter Bria and son Bryan) and Memphitz.
And in baby news….
Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush and his fiancee Lilit Avagyan are the proud parents of a beautiful baby girl who they named Briseis. If you’re wondering where he got the name from, Reggie explained it to Life & Style,
"It’s Greek. We were watching the movie Troy and my fiancée, who was my girlfriend at the time, said, ‘If we ever have a daughter, can we name her that?’ And a couple of months later, wouldn’t you know! The name was picked out months before she was even thought about. It’s crazy."
And the first-time father also revealed that he went through a range of emotions on May 6, the day Briseis was born.
"I was nervous, I was excited, I was scared, I was happy. Every emotion possible was running through me. And then you’re like, ‘I can’t believe this is my baby.’ It was really emotional when I was first holding her."
Now that he and Lilit has a bundle of joy…things have changed. When asked how fatherhood has changed him, he told L&S,
"It has grounded me more. When you have a child, everything you do is about them," he confides. "You’re thinking about your child first. Everything. It’s grounded me a lot more."
Congrats to the happy couple.
