Jay Sean wants to take you to another plant on this new sensual release, which is to featured on the crooner’s forthcoming LP. “Mars” notes the British singer-songwriter speaking directly to the ladies, showcasing his falsetto, as MMG frontman Rick Ross then adds a verse for the hip-hop heads. Again, the joint effort will be featured on Sean’s new Neon project, coming in June. Enjoy the slow jam now below.
Jay Sean takes his girl to another planet on his second single “Mars.” The Cash Money crooner shows off his vocal range, singing in a falsetto over the smooth joint, while Rozay drips in swag on his guest verse.
“I’m so high, I’m wasted I don’t wanna come down/ Let me take you to Mars, girl/ And we’ll make love on a star, girl,” he sings.
Jay’s fourth album Neon is due June 25 featuring Busta Rhymes and Ace Hood.
“The album is the best piece of work I’ve done to date, without a doubt in the last 10 years,” Jay told Rap-Up TV. “This album is a mixture of R&B, of pop, of some rock influence as well, of hip-hop influence. It’s just all of the great genres that I love and I grew up on in one. The songwriting and production on this album is superb. It really took us a long time to get it right, but I’m so proud of it.”

After sharing an Instagram photo of himself posing with Eminem last month, the Internets were curious to find out what the two Detroit natives were up to. Not much was said about the session, which also included Royce da 5’9″, but it was assumed that Sean was working with them on his sophomore album Hall of Fame. In a recent appearance on “NiteCap With Peter Bailey,” Sean spoke about what went down during the epic studio session.
While he didn’t confirm that any of the songs they worked on would appear on his next album, Big Sean did mention how they bonded over being from the Motor City. “It was crazy just coming from Detroit. We sat and talked for a couple of hours, even before we did anything musically. I was just telling them how much—how crazy it is man coming from The D,” he said. “Them was the superstars. Them was the heroes in rap music. And they showed me that you can be worldwide. Cause it was always local heroes, but obviously one of the biggest rappers in the world is from Detroit. It was a big deal there. It was an honor man, straight up.”
Sean, who partnered with Adidas last year, also spoke about the Rick Ross controversy with Reebok. “The content for this new album has been way more mature. People are gonna see as soon as you start putting the content out. I don’t think you should necessarily censor what you say if you feel like how you feel,” he explained. “I don’t think he ever censors what he says. He apologized for it. I don’t think he meant it how it came across…You gotta have a sense of what’s right and what’s wrong.”
Sean’s album doesn’t have a release date just yet but he did tell MTV News, “I’m not trying to hype it up or talk it up but it’s obviously the best work I’ve done and I’m excited about it.”

”It Was An Honor, Man…”
Big Sean shared a recording session with fellow Detroit-born superstars Eminem and Royce Da 5’9. Sean talked a little about the conversations he had with the two elder Motor City rhymers, though he wouldn’t give the specific details regarding the session.
But he acknowledged that working with them was an important moment for him.
âIt was crazy just coming from Detroit. We sat and talked for a couple of hours, even before we did anything musically. You know what Iâm saying? So, I was just telling them how muchâhow crazy it is man coming from The D,â said Big Sean. âThem was the superstars. Them was the heroes in rap music. And they showed me that you can be worldwide. Cause it was always local heroes, but obviously one of the biggest rappers in the world is from Detroit. It was a big deal there. It was an honor man, straight up.â
Mac Miller and Sean Price collaborate on a hard hitting track called “21 & Over.” Yes, you read that right. Thank DJ/producer Statik Selektah for pairing the otherwise highly unlikely duo on a song set to appear on his forthcoming Extended Play LP.
A Styles P sample chanting “And if you under 21, you shouldn’t listen to this” repeats over a hard body beat that’s right up Price’s alley. With that, the Brooklyn lyricist spits grime-filled bars not made for the ears of minors. Our personal favorite is “It’s so thuggish to sniff ‘caine/ Very cold blooded, motherf***ker I’m Rick James.”
Miller is no slouch either, though. Sticking to his strong suits, the Pittsburgh MC flexes a dexterous flow and witty lines similar to what’s heard on his recent releases, ”S.D.S.” and “Watching Movies.”
Extended Play will hit stores June 18. Another gem produced by Statik titled “Bird’s Eye View,” features Raekwon, Joey Bada$$, and Black Thought, and will also appear on the project.

Who says you can’t mix business with pleasure? Big Sean recently took a trip down to Hawaii for work, but he also brought along his girlfriend, “Glee” star Naya Rivera. During his down time, the G.O.O.D Music rapper chilled with his friends on the beach and also visited a children’s hospital in Honolulu.
Over the weekend Sean Instagrammed a group shot of his friends at a luau on the beach “Me and a few gee’s… We’re working the whole time in Hawaii so I’m glad we had 1 night to kick it.” He also tweeted a another picture of him cheesing with Naya. The couple is looking pretty happy with their new relationship, which Sean opened up about in an interview last month.
Big Sean also spent some of his time in Hawaii visiting patients at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Honolulu. While his sophomore album Hall of Fame still doesn’t have a release date yet, we do know he’s been in the studio with Eminem so there’s a lot to look forward to.

”I’m Glad We Had 1 Night To Kick It”
It looks like Big Sean is getting used to the rules of celebrity couple-dom.
One of the major rules is that you and your sexy TV star boo have to take trips to tropical isles and share the experience with the world. Sean and his girlfriend, “Glee” star Naya Rivera, took a little trip to Hawaii last week.
Sean was there for work, but he and his girl enjoyed a luau and some partying, with Sean tweeting how happy he was the two got some down time together.
“Me and a few gee’s… We’re working the whole time in Hawaii so I’m glad we had 1 night to kick it,” tweeted Sean, who performed at Aloha Tower.
COUPLEDOM: Big Sean & Naya Rivera Get Cozy In Hawaii + Chanel Iman Straddles A$AP Rocky For Some Kisses
Celeb couples are blowing up their Instagrams with cutesy pics to let everyone in on their love. And to prove it’s real, we think. Check out rapper Big Sean and his new boo Naya Rivera chillin’ in Hawaii, plus Chanel Iman in a compromising position with her man A$AP Rocky…
Well aren’t they…cute. If you’re one of the folks saying Big Sean is only with "Glee" star Naya Rivera for publicity, the twosome are showing they’ve got some real laid back love. Or something.
The twosome snapped a few cute pics while vacationing (even though Sean said he’s working the whole time while he’s there and this was his one day off).
And the two have been gushing about each other. Sean tweeted the above pic saying "A pretty girl on my balcony."
And Naya tweeted the above pic of Sean saying, "Legendary." Oh. She also gushed to E! News about her man in the first interview where she talks about him openly:
“He’s awesome and I’m really happy and I feel like I’m in a really good place in my life. So yeah, we’re doing really well!”
Check out a Vine vid they shot while playing around at a luau:
Meanwhile, rapper A$Ap Rocky has a break from Rihanna‘s Diamonds World Tour. And he’s spending it smoking some blunts and getting kisses from his model girlfriend Chanel Iman, who’s straddling him on his lap, in between puffs:
Yep….and they posted it. Love for the world to see. Gotta love that.
1. Speaking of public love, Michael Jordan and his new wife Yvette were spotted honeymooning in Greece–beer, cigars and yachts galore. STORY
Kanye West may have Kim Kardashian, but Big Sean also has a hot girlfriend of his own. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper brought his boo Naya Rivera of “Glee” fame with him to Hawaii while he worked. The happy couple enjoyed a luau with their friends on the beach. During their trip, they also visited some young patients at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Honolulu.
“Me and a few gee’s… We’re working the whole time in Hawaii so I’m glad we had 1 night to kick it,” tweeted Sean, who has a show tonight at Aloha Tower.
His sophomore album Hall of Fame is still awaiting a release date, but it promises features from Nas, Jhené Aiko, and Miguel.
Naya, who is working on an album of her own, recently spoke about her relationship with the Detroit MC. “He’s awesome and I’m really happy and I feel like I’m in a really good place in my life. So yeah, we’re doing really well!” she told E! Online.
