Fabolous Pushes Back Loso’s Way 2 to July [VIDEO]
May 21st
Fabolous has further delayed the release of his long-awaited album Loso’s Way 2. The Brooklyn native connected with Rap-Up fresh off the stage from a L.A. show on his “The Life Is So Exciting Tour” to make the announcement.
“We actually pushed back a little bit. We needed to handle some technicalities,” Fabolous explained. “We going to go about late July, I think either the 23rd or the 30th, but don’t get me to lying.”
This is unfortunate news for Fab’s fans, but on a positive note, the “Ready” rapper divulged tidbits of information on what listeners can expect to hear on the project.
“Just a little bit of growth. I’ma give you what I do and some collaborations here and there, but definitely some evolution as an artist, as a man, as a father, as a friend,” said Fabolous. “Just talking about some real sh-t and still doing what I do, giving you some witty lines, giving you some catchy stuff for the ladies. Just good music overall.”
The album will feature collaborations with Future, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Ne-Yo, 2 Chainz, and Trey Songz, who was present during the interview.
Loso’s Way 2 was originally slated to drop June 18 with Kanye West’s Yeezus, Mac Miller’s Watching Movies With The Sound Off and J. Cole’s Born Sinner. Now that day will be less strenuous on your pockets.

Apr 17th
|
”I Ain’t Got No Date”
Juelz Santana is pushing back his forthcoming album. The project was previously announced as dropping in 2013, and that much hasn’t changed–but Juelz told Power 99 that the album won’t be released until towards the end of the year, at the earliest. “Born To Lose, Built To Win, that’s what everything is pretty much gearing up to,” Juelz said. “Just pay attention, I told you, this is that free pay-per-view. [It'll come out] probably fourth quarter. I ain’t got no date, definitely no date but you’ll start hearing music soon. I been working for a minute. I ain’t gonna say [I've been] out of commission, but I ain’t been doing what I’ve supposed to been doing for a little minute. So I’m just doing a little making up right now.” |
Kid Cudi Pushes Indicud Release Date Up
Apr 10th
What’s likely a direct result of it leaking earlier this week, KiD CuDi announced plans to push forward the release on his third solo album Indicud. The project, originally scheduled to drop April 23, is now slated to release in digital and physical form April 16.
“Ok so, INDICUD will be released April 16th now. Physical and digitally!! SPREAD THE WORD!!,” tweeted the former G.O.O.D. Music artist. From there, CuDi embraced the love he received from fans excited by the news and even alluded to the LP’s special presentation. “The album packaging is dope. Cant wait for everyone to have the official Shyte.”
While the verdict is still out on the full album (many have mixed reviews), it does don a some very quality tracks in “Solo Dolo Pt. 2,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, the Too $hort assisted “Girls,” and “King Wizard.”
Mind you, CuDi recently emancipated himself from the G.O.O.D. Music collective, and is currently focusing on his own label Wicked Awesome and acts like friend King Chip.
If pirating isn’t your thing, whet your appetites with the snippets for the album here. Be sure to cop up on Indicud next Tuesday.

FASHION NEWS: Andre Leon Talley DENIES That He’s Leaving “VOGUE” + Big Sean Pushes Out A Fashion Line
Feb 18th

As he sets his sights on late-night television, it was reported that Andre Leon Talley had severed ties with VOGUE magazine…but he’s denying that! Find out more about his next move inside and get deets on Big Sean’s new fashion line….
Now that famed VOGUE Magazine contributing editor Andre Leon Talley plans to branch into late night television, it was rumored that he might be forced out of one of the most prestigious jobs in the fashion industry.
It all started when ALT signed a production deal with production company Electus, which was brokered by Marc Beckman. Marc spoke about the signing saying, "We think a television platform is an ideal showcase for André’s personality to shine and bring together his amazing network of personal contacts, ranging from designers to musicians to politicians…"
That’s all fine and good that ALT wants to expand HIS brand, but the folks over at Page Six reported that VOGUE and Conde Nast have no desire to watch ALT or any other editor on their mast head spread their wings. One source said, “The powers that be aren’t huge fans of his television aspirations, and they want to sever all ties now."
But of course this could simply be speculation and rumor since no one from Conde Nast has gone on the record to confirm ALT has left the building. In fact, Andre’s rep denied the rumors and told the NY Post, "Andre is absolutely maintaining his relationship as a contributor . . . [He] has a number of projects in the works with Vogue and Condé Nast, and maintains a warm relationship with both.”
Only time will tell how this will eventually play out….but do you think that ALT has what it takes to compete with comedians and late night hosts?
And in new clothing lines….

As fans wait for his anticipated sophomore album, Hall of Fame, rapper Big Sean just announced the official launch of Aura Gold, a fashion and lifestyle company. And the first label underneath it is an ode to his debut album as it’s called Finally Famous.

Featuring tees, sweatshirts and varsity jackets, Big Sean talked about the line saying, “Launching my own label is a dream come true for me. Even though I have a lot to learn about fashion and the industry, I do know what I like and the small details that make something stand out to me. I look forward to evolving the line with more colors, fabrications and offerings to show the other dimensions of my style progression over time.”
The launch coincides with an appearance in at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas for ProjectMVMNT this week to introduce Aura Gold’s fashion label "Finally Famous" and unveil the line’s Fall 2013 collection named The Black Collection.
Congrats to Big Sean!
Lil B’s Task Force Pushes Joey Bada$$ To Deactivate Twitter Account
Feb 2nd
The feud between Joey Bada$$ and Lil B has taken another bizarre turn.
The teenage lyricist out of Brooklyn and the Bay Area Based God have taken shots at each other in a week long war of words that included diss tracks from both sides. Beginning with Lil B’s “I’m The Bad A$$” and Joey’s “Don’t Quit Your Day Job,” the two continue to take shots at each other through social media and interviews respectively.
“I really didn’t have to respond, I don’t feel so, but I just did it as like… I don’t know why. … it’s too easy, that’s what it is,” Joey told MTV in a recent interview. “It’s too easy, so I thought, ‘Why not?’ It’s just flexing my skill on him.”
Well Lil B’s followers, the Task Force, got word of this interview and have been letting him have it on Twitter and now have led the Cinematic Music Group MC to delete his Twitter account. “I just wanna snuff somebody and delete my Twitter. You taskforce ni**as is pu**y. Gay a** computer nerds,” Bada$$ tweeted before deleting his account. “Here I go ranting again, f**k this s**t. Come to me with that task force s**t, and i’ll punch you in the throat,” Joey said before being a man of his word and actually deleting his account.
The task force swear to protect Lil B at all costs, so in the case it is mission accomplished.

Allen Iverson In Financial Hole, But Still Pushes A Maybach
Dec 4th
It’s simple mathematics; spend less than you earn. Allen Iverson is not adhering to this concept. The former NBA MVP is spending about 9,000 per month on an income of ,000 per month. Bubba Chuck still pushes a Maybach, though.
TMZ reports that because of his ongoing divorce. A.I. filed documents in a Georgia court that outlined his dire financial straights.
So where does all his money go?
A large chunk — 5,749.33 to be exact — is spent paying off various creditors (like his jeweler) … and some goes to his mortgages (but not for long, since his ATL crib is about to be auctioned off).
But Allen says he blows a lot on OTHER expenses too … like ,000/month on clothes, ,000/month on grocery/house items, ,000/month on dry cleaning, ,000/month on entertainment, ,000/month on restaurants … and so on.
All in all, Iverson — who reportedly made over 0 MILLION during his NBA career — says he ends up in the hole each month to tune of 5,876.66. Ouch.
To Iverson’s credit, the Maybach he owns is completely paid off. But the aforementioned expenses are exorbitant for a man making K a month considering someone who makes that income in a year would be doing better than a lot of people.
Recently, Iverson was spotted in China getting buckets against streetballers while his Atlanta .5M mansion, that was foreclosed, is up for auction today.
