Jordan Shine ‘Pure Platinum’
Sep 26th
The Jordan Shine “Platinum” is a silhouette that references the iconic Jordan 1, all while creating its own identity based off the foundation. The sneaker arrives in a pure platinum, vachetta tan and white colorway, and its tan-based premium woven leather upper comes complete with a smooth toe, heel and tongue. It’s the details that make this shoe so sophisticated and brilliant: the upper gives off a very clean look in light grey while a tan lining contrasts. The finishing touches like its white sole and laces round it out.
Available at Flight 23 on Saturday.
Nike Flyknit Chukka Platinum
Jun 1st
The Nike Flyknit Chukka ‘Platinum’ sneaker is an extension of the ever-popular Flyknit offering that first became available at the 2012 Summer Olympics. The Free Flyknit Chukka is a follow-up to last year’s Lunarlon-equipped Flyknit Chukka, and while it’s the 10th anniversary of the Nike Free, the hybrid makes perfect sense. The innovation of Flyknit is that the knitted upper is one piece. This sneaker, in particular, features a palette of black and grey with a contrasting white Nike Swoosh. The difference from its predecessor lies in its updated Free midsole, while the rest remains true to its original form.
Available in stores and online.
Air Jordan 1 ’86 (Black/Pure Platinum)
Apr 12th
Taking cues from the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan 1 ’86 arrives in its inaugural colorway of black, white and pure platinum. With the Air Jordan 1 as a base, the details include a black leather upper with safari print on its overlays, a multicolored outsole, a white outline around the Swoosh logo and contrasting white laces. A mashup of the Air Jordan 1 and 2 along with safari print makes this release a solid hybrid.
Available in stores and online on Saturday.
Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86 “Black/White-Pure Platinum”
Apr 11th
The Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2 are two of the most iconic J’s of all-time, and the latest Retro to hit the sneaker scene blends the two classic models seamlessly. Inspired by the Air Jordan 2, the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86 features the moniker that changed the sneaker game, the “Wings” logo, which is prominently showcased on the tongue and molded heel counter that make it instantly recognizable.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro ’86 “Black/White-Pure Platinum” drops this Saturday, April 12th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $ 130. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release.
