New from streetwear champions A Bathing Ape comes a look at the brand’s offerings for Spring 2014. The classic Japanese label remains true to its athletic and military roots with this latest collection, offering an array of sweatshirts, raglans, and accessories throughout, though with a special emphasis on outerwear and jackets. The ever-present camo motif is back in full effect, though expressed in more subdued ways, while elsewhere the brand experiments with zebra prints. Lightweight bomber jackets and field jackets complete this slick collection, which will be available at retailers in the coming months to come.
Having released a series of inspired collections over the course of the year, Los Angeles-based street label GPPR brings a look at their intended offerings for early 2014. As with the aesthetic established in collections like “Pleasure Seekers” and “Handsome Devils,” the line continues to offer an array of well-designed sweatshirts, tshirts and casual shirts. This particular collection – “Tomorrow’s Renaissance” – pays tribute to the idea of modern revolutions, underlined by a clever “BIG” T-shirt filled with the portraits of great, deceased ‘golden age’ hip-hop MC’s. With the striking photography coming courtesy of TK Anderson and modeled by Janáe Roubleau, enjoy a look at GPPR’s latest collection above.
