While we’re in the middle of Spring and Summer is right around the corner, the range of outfits you can wear these days range from light jackets paired with shorts, to a tank paired with a beanie, to jeans paired with a t-shirt. Essentially: when the weather is good, the possibilities are endless. But the question is: how do you stand out when practically anything goes?
Color, layering and a diverse set of garments can put your stamp on your everyday style. We’ve put together a few looks for you to gain inspiration from—under the vein of “keeping it light.” And that’s utilizing a light color palette made up on white and grey and unique ways to pull those colors off with balancing dark shades of color and different textures.
With the first look, our model is wearing a light grey Nike tanktop with textured light denim along with crisp white sneakers. To complete the look, a black New Era cityscape cap rounds the look out with its subtle leather brim.
Our next look shows our model wearing eye-catching pants with zip-up pockets and a photo print of girls in swimsuits on the pants. The dominantly white pants are balanced out with a grey and black shirt up top and a black bottom section of pants.
Our next look reveals our model wearing a pair of colorful Asics arriving with pops of yellow/gold with colorful socks. While all of that attention is happening on his feet, a white-and-black palette is embraced for the rest of the outfit: all-whites shorts, a dominantly white patterned Nike t-shirt and a dominantly black snapback with pops of white.
Next up, our model is wearing a white Diamond Supply Co. tee with matching tiffany diamond colored kicks to continue the aesthetic. The pants round out the whole outfit as the texture and distressed look of his light denim complement his shirt and shoes.
And for the last look, the model is rocking a light-grey Alife pinstripe tee paired with light grey joggers with black accents. This look is important because although it’s not white, it’s a lighter consistent shade.
With Spring in full effect, warmer weather has invaded the streets and the days of wearing tees all day, everyday, is definitely the move. We’ve styled a lookbook for you to see just how you can rock your tees with other pieces such as various styles of pants, different kicks and alternate forms of hats like bucket hats to baseball caps.
With the first look, our model is wearing a Lath t-shirt that has a large overall graphic taking up a quarter of the right side of the shirt, paired with a bucket hat and American Stitch joggers. Although the bucket hat and tee both have loud graphics, their similar color palettes allow them to work well together. The black joggers break up the look in all-black, then Odd Sox socks down below are very colorful while being balanced out by some clean Asics with pops of neutral color.
The next couple of looks show off our range of graphic tees that we have here at Footaction: the fifth slide shows our model rocking a Hustle Gang tee with a grey Cavs New Era hat and the next slide reveals a Rocksmith long sleeve that we carry with graphics on the sleeves as well as a large graphic to take up the torso. The Rocksmith long sleeve is paired with a clean Detroit skyline cap.
Our last looks revolve around our Alife tees: the first one shows off it being paired with a LeBron hat and Nike Jogger Capris and Huaraches, while the last look shows off the Alife tee paired with Levis joggers-jeans, Jordan sneakers and candy hearts socks by Odd Sox.

As the low temperatures from Winter are slowly fading, there is a glimmer of warmer days on the way. With that comes an opportunity for more light and airy looks to infuse into your wardrobe. We’ve put together a couple of looks for you to get inspiration from — and it all starts with the tops.
The first look pairs a black short sleeve graphic tee with grey Hustle Gang shorts—which are both understated in color—while clean and classic Nike’s are worn down below. The second look pairs a white adidas long sleeve shirt with white Fairplay joggers, while the look is capped off with black and red Asics to provide some color.
These looks will take you a little bit closer to the days that we’re all looking forward to.
For the last installment of the February lookbook, we’ve styled a few looks that focus on the utilizing color in your wardrobe without overdoing it. The key with these looks is that while incorporating a bright and popping color such as red, the color serves an even stronger purpose by pairing it with more subdued/neutral colors. For example, in our first look, the model is wearing a red top from Hudson, paired with a white Jordan 23 undershirt for an added layer of separation between the shirt and dark colored Brooklyn Cloth pants. As added details to the outfit, a Nike snapback cap and blue Nike Huaraches allow the red shirt to really pop.
With our next look, our model is sporting Brooklyn Cloth marsala sweats. Although it’s a darker shade of red, wearing a sweats this color can send the right message when paired with the right pieces. The New Era Spurs beanie, Adidas hoodie and crispy white adidas high tops pair well with the sweats that serve as a statement.
The next photo shows the model rocking a Hudson plaid top, with black Nike “Rule the empire” long sleeve and Fairplay grey joggers. Another example of allowing a “louder” garment to turn heads while the rest of the outfit is more minimal and quiet with a purpose.
And last but not least, this look is the most casual of the styled outfits. While the dominant color of red is his shirt color, the pop of color is seen on the long-sleeve undershirt in addition to being seen on the brim of the baseball cap. The look is capped off with neutral black pants and clean white sneakers.
For this second installment of the February lookbook, we’re focusing on expanding your style vocabulary by “building on the basics.” Most of the time purely functional, utilitarian and simple pieces are great as the foundation to an outfit, but mixing/matching pieces with different materials, textures and patterns is the way to go. We’ve put together a few looks for you to gather some ideas for outfits for the month.
