Nike Kyrie 1 “Dream”
Dec 20th
The number of signature athletes in the NBA will increase by one on Tuesday when Kyrie Irving joins the likes of Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kevin Durant as a member of Nike’s signature shoe lineup. Though he’s laced them up on court already, the Nike Kyrie 1 will officially drop and be available to the public on December 23rd with the release of the “Dream” colorway – exclusively at Foot Locker.
The Kyrie 1 is built around three main areas of Irving’s game that Nike chose to highlight in his first signature shoe. From Nike:
After months of meticulous testing and feedback, the KYRIE 1 was created to deliver three primary benefits:
– Pinpoint responsiveness with Nike Zoom Air cushioning in the forefoot.
– Dynamic grip with a 360-degree dynamic traction pattern wrapping the shoe’s sidewalls.
– Ultra support and breathability with Hyperfuse construction for lockdown stability.
The Kyrie 1 features a unique silhouette with some design features to take not of that we can look out for as the line progresses. The upper of the Kyrie 1 is made predominantly from mesh with the color coming from the pattern underneath it while the midsole and outsole combine for a teeth-like design that we can only hope becomes the iconic look of Iriving’s line. The “KI” logo, which we’ve seen earlier versions of before on Kyrie colorways of old, shines brightly on the shoe’s tongue. The initial “Dream” colorway is officially a Black/Bright Crimson-Anthracite-White one but as you can see from the pictures, the release is a shock of color that fits together quite nicely.
The Nike Kyrie 1 “Dream” drops at Foot Locker and House of Hoops by Foot Locker stores on Tuesday, December 23rd for $ 110. Check out the Launch Locator to see if a location near you will be carrying the Kyrie 1.

Nike Zoom HyperRev Kyrie Irving PE
May 6th
This Saturday, May 10th, will see the release of two Kyrie Irving player edition colorways of the Nike Zoom HyperRev. The HyperRev, one of Nike’s newest performance basketball shoes, is also the second shoe to get the Kyrie Irving PE treatment after the 2013 Hyperdunk. The two HyperRevs dropping at House of Hoops on Saturday are inspired by Kyrie’s team, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the country of his birth, Australia. The Australian colorway is very similar to the 2013 Hyperdunk mentioned above. Both also feature Kyrie’s branded logo “K” across the front of the Velcro ankle strap.
