Nike Kobe 9 ‘Deep Garnet’

The Nike Kobe 9 “Deep Garnet” is the next colorway up for Kobe Bryant’s current signature model. The versatile sneaker features a deep garnet one-piece mesh upper contrasted by a bright crimson outsole. Metallic gold accents make an appearance on the Nike swoosh and Kobe signature on the heel. The tongue includes a Kobe branding design that hasn’t been included on any previous Kobe releases to date. In addition, accents of black is seen along the midsole, while vibrant hues of bright crimson are seen across the outsole. With a ’1996′ crest on the tongue, the year Kobe Bryant led Lower Merion High School to a state title, the latest Kobe 9 proudly honors his early years.

Nike Kobe 9 EXT ‘Snakeskin’

The Nike Kobe 9 continues to stretch the imagination, taking its heightened innovation from the court to the community with a Mamba-centric lifestyle feel. The latest extension, meant to embody the aesthetic and attitude of the venomous copperhead, is the second off-court extension in Kobe Bryant’s repertoire. Camouflaged in brown and tan hues, the snake-inspired upper replicates the reptile’s crossband pattern. Black premium leather runs along the tongue, collar, and heel, adding rich accents to each piece. Tying the design together, chrome insignia, inlays, and a translucent midsole let you shine off the court.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘Restored’

Even if you’re not a Lakers fan, basketball fans everywhere have to be excited about Kobe Bryant’s return to the court this season. Even in his twilight years, Kobe is still one of the top players in the game today and can put on an incredible performance on any given night. The Lakers are a team in transition and the Black Mamba will be tested in leading a young core group trying to restore the winning tradition. Knowing Kobe’s insane work ethic and killer instinct personality, he certainly will be up for the challenge. With that mindset in mind and to usher in the new season, Nike has a created a special colorway for his Kobe 9 Elite for him to rock on court this season. The shoe features a striking, volt and black upper accented with a Metallic Gold colored Swoosh which adds a premium look. The Kobe 9 Elite is equipped with the familiar Flyknit construction, and of course provides that ultralight feel and the lockdown and responsiveness that a Kobe shoe demands.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite ‘Brave Blue’

The first Nike Kobe 9 of the fall season drops this week in a new ‘Brave Blue’ colorway that will surely turn some heads. An ode to Dr. Jerry Buss, the late Lakers owner, the colorway gets its hue from Dr. Buss’ poker jacket. An accomplished poker player, Buss was the Lakers owner for 10 of their championships and was a 2010 inductee to the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, MA. The ‘Brave Blue’ Kobe 9 incorporates a full flyknit upper into the high top silhouette, as well as a metallic silver Swoosh design gives the shoe the premium feel of an Elite release. Finally, red accents round out the shoe on the heel pattern while teal takes care of the lace loops.

Nike Kobe 9 Low “Dusty Cactus”

The newest addition to the Kobe IX line that has been blazing hot this year is the Nike Kobe 9 Low “Dusty Cactus.” Debuting a brand new Nike colorway, Dusty Cactus is closest to a robin’s egg blue and is featured perfectly on this great Dusty Cactus-White-Action Red colorway. The upper features a completely Dusty Cactus engineered mesh upper with white and red taking care of the accenting. A new feature on this Kobe 9 is the addition of a new tongue patch that includes the shozoku Kobe brand logo, five stars to commemorate his five titles, and an image of a black snake. Nike Kobe 9 EM Dusty Cactus

The Nike Kobe 9 EM arrives in a new “Dusty Cactus” colorway that takes up a majority of the upper. Red is seen on the Flywire while White takes up the swoosh, laces and midsole. The upper consists of Engineered Mesh and the tongue tag reads “Black Mamba” instead of the usual Shizoku logo. The low-cut sneaker is clean overall with considerable differences from the usual Kobe 9 EM drops to make this one more special.

Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low “University Red”

The “University Red” colorway is the latest colorway to join the Kobe 9 line, which has been nothing short of amazing since it’s debut earlier this year. The “University Red” colorway features a predominantly red flyknit upper that includes hints of mint accents on the heel, speckled laces, and speckled midsole, as well as a glow in the dark Nike Swoosh design. Black around the shoe on parts of the upper, outsole, and sock liner make the release clean, simple, and sophisticated. Because it is an Elite release, premium materials in addition to the Flyknit upper are used including tumbled leather on the heel and tongue and carbonfiber in the midsole. Flywire and Lunarlon – two of Nike’s premier technologies – are also incorporated into the release.
