”I Ain’t Got No Date”
Juelz Santana is pushing back his forthcoming album. The project was previously announced as dropping in 2013, and that much hasn’t changed–but Juelz told Power 99 that the album won’t be released until towards the end of the year, at the earliest. “Born To Lose, Built To Win, that’s what everything is pretty much gearing up to,” Juelz said. “Just pay attention, I told you, this is that free pay-per-view. [It'll come out] probably fourth quarter. I ain’t got no date, definitely no date but you’ll start hearing music soon. I been working for a minute. I ain’t gonna say [I've been] out of commission, but I ain’t been doing what I’ve supposed to been doing for a little minute. So I’m just doing a little making up right now.” |
Juelz Santana Talks About JoJo Incident
Apr 16th
|
”Nothing’s Going On”
Juelz Santana stopped by Power 99 for a quick chat. The Dipset rapper was asked about Atlanta rap star Waka Flocka Flame’s recent appearance at a Dipset reunion show in New York City, where Waka took the time to diss his former associate Gucci Mane. “I mean, it wasn’t that it surprised me,” Santana said of Waka’s diss. “Waka’s Waka, Waka wants to do what Waka wants to do. That’s nothing to do with me.” But Santana was also asked about the recent altercation between JoJo Simmons and Hyneif–an affiliate of Santana’s. JoJo was allegedly attacked over the diss record he released earlier this year, which took aim at Juelz. |
“Nothing, nothing,” JoJo said of the incident. “It’s just, you know? It’s cool, he’s cool, we cool. It’s cool. Nothing happened, nothing’s going on.”
DAMN SON! JoJo Simmons Gets YANKED UP By Juelz Santana’s Crew Over A Diss track…JoJo Speaks Out About His “Snatched” Pic Ending Up On Twitter!
Apr 15th

In the "Did you really have to do this ish?" news of the day, JoJo Simmons is speaking out about how and why he got snatched up by a member of Juelz Santana‘s crew. And his SNATCHING was caught on camera and blasted on Instagram.
The pic of the shook up JoJo and what the fight that has gone from interview beef to JoJo getting paws put on him in the streets inside…
Is it just us, or is JoJo (Russell Simmons‘ nephew & Rev. Run‘s son) constantly catching L’s? First he tries his damndest to embark on a rap career and his little brother outshined him, then he gets caught up with a transexual, and now, he gets snatched up on the streets by another rapper.
A while ago, JoJo released a diss track called "Holy Water" (But…WHY JoJo?) going in on Juelz Santana for his verse on his song "Soft." Jo said ont he track:
“Now how you gonna mention my uncle Russell / Then disrespect his nephew / The industry forgot you / Fucker, you nothing special/ These niggas hate to love you / Simmons will not let you / Compare your money to my money, boy that’s disrespectful.”
So the other day, one of Juelz’s homies, Hynief, rolled up on JoJo and snatched him up in the middle of the street and made him call Juelz to apologize. Hence, the pic of a shook up JoJo above. Hynief said:
Guess who I caught y’all Lil punk ass Jo Jo that made the diss track look at his face when he ace! #facts shouldn’t pop shit if u not bout that life real niggas don’t care who u related too fuck nigga
First off 2 everybody hating u can suck my dick 2nd I could of did the boy greasy I let him live its the principles don’t run ya fuckn mouth
But…y’all are really mad over a JoJo "diss"? Really? REALLY? Enough to really physically put hands on him? Boredom and the internet do NOT mix.
There must be something else you fellas could be doing with your time…like Juelz actually being there for his baby mama Kimbella instead of her crying constantly on "Love & Hip Hop" about his trifling ways.
Anywho, JoJo has now spoken out about the incident today in a video… with goons behind him bucking his head up while he "explained" the situation and tried to act as hard as possible:
Don’t feel like this was necessary either. But JoJo decided to keep up the foolery by posting on his Twitter today:
I was at a video shoot. I answered a question in an interview….
It was An interview at a video shoot. Didn’t even wana answer the question. Especially with all those people behind me.Interview was random. And spur of the moment. #Notplanned
I don’t really speak on the situation because I don’t want to shed light on the negativity….I’m not in a gang nor am I affiliated…media outlets can mix up words and stories. I made a diss record and dealt with the consequences. #MovingOn
Chiiile…
Angela & Vanessa…come get y’all brother!

Juelz Santana Talks Dipset Reunion
Mar 11th

”We Are Definitely Going To Get Back In the Studio”
Juelz Santana is promising that the Diplomats will return to the studio. Santana spoke with Hip Hop Since 1987 regarding the crew’s 10th anniversary show at B.B. Kings and also added that fans can expect an actual album from he, Cam’Ron, Jim Jones and Freaky Zekey. “We definitely going to get back in the studio and start working on some music and if the vibe is good and the music is coming out the way it’s supposed to come out. We going to put that record out,” Juelz said. “We’ve been talking about it, we want to do it right. The first Diplomatic Immunity album was a double-CD classic,” he said. “So if we give the people something, we got to give them something close to that.” “It’s always good to be on stage with Cam and Jim,” he said. “When you get on stage everything falls into place, everything feels good. I didn’t know 10 years went by so fast though, that’s a beautiful thing for us to be pushing that 10th Anniversary of Dipset, I’m proud of that. We set real high standards out there for crews so it’s a good thing.” |
Juelz Santana Talks Likelihood of New Diplomats Album [VIDEO]
Mar 10th
2013 Hip-Hop saw the return of Juelz Santana, who released is long awaited God Will’n mixtape and is steadily working on his Slowbucks clothing line, but even that was not enough to quiet Diplomats fans.
Since the clique reunited a year and a half ago, the Internets have incessantly questioned the crew’s lack of new material. With the Dipset 10th anniversary show in New York just a few weeks away, the Harlemite alluded that he may have more in the works with Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Freaky Zeeky.
The news came via an exclusive interview with Philly’s Hip-Hop Since 1987, who caught up with the “Mic Check” rapper after a recent concert in the City of Brotherly Love.
“We definitely going to get back in the studio and start working on some music and if the vibe is good and the music is coming out the way it’s supposed to come out. We going to put that record out,” said Santana, who refuses to put out an album that isn’t to par with or better than the first Diplomatic Immunity.
“We’ve been talking about it, we want to do it right. The first Diplomatic Immunity album was a double-CD classic,” he said. “So if we give the people something, we got to give them something close to that.”
Many will agree that the album donning tracks like “Dipset Anthem,” “I’m Ready,” and “I Really Mean It” was certainly groundbreaking. If The Diplomats decide to reunite, they will certainly have their work cut out for them. Hear Santana discuss more about the potential project, the 10th anniversary concert, and his clothing line below.

Juelz Santana Models In Karmaloop’s Spring ’13 Lookbook [PHOTOS]
Mar 6th
Online streetwear retailer Karmaloop selected rapper Juelz Santana to showcase its top looks for their Spring 2013 lookbook, “Title of Lookbook.”
The Harlemite sports some of the Boston based company’s top brands in the digital catalogue, including Staple, Crooks and Castles, Billionaire Boys Club, Vans, Nudie Jeans, FLuD Watches, 10 Deep, Mitchell & Ness and a quality Grant Hill retro by Fila. Santana also used Karmaloop’s platform to place his up-and-coming clothing brand Slow Bucks on display.
The photos look to be inspired by the Dipset rapper’s recent resurgence into Hip-Hop by honing in on Santana’s lavish, but hood rich persona, which paints him in sort of a “back like I never left” light. The Harlem native can be seen engaging in activities ranging from getting a haircut to enjoying a glass of champagne in the shots, a lot of which are captioned with lyrics from his most recognizable tracks.
Santana is making a steady climb back into Hip-Hop prominence, having established himself as a player with numerous guest appearances, his God Will’n mixtape and finally this spot with Karmaloop. Fans will have to wait to see what else he has up his sleeve for 2013. Check the photos from the lookbook on the following pages in the mean time.

Kimbella & Yandy Party With Juelz Santana

Rapper Celebrates His Birthday In Miami
Juelz Santana was joined recently in Miami by “Love & Hip Hop” castmates Kimbella and Yandy Smith to celebrate his birthday. Kimmy snapped some shots of her partying with her baby daddy on a yacht, but Yandy wasn’t with her controversial boy-toy Mandeecees. He’s currently dealing with some legal issues, of course. But the trio hit up the clubs, hit the beach, and hit the ocean. Looks like everyone had a good time, including Yandy’s son, Omere. How can you not enjoy your birthday in Miami? |
