The Weeknd gifted fans with two new tracks on Thursday night, combining “Kiss Land” and “John Carpenter” in one upload, although the songs are very different in scope. While “Kiss Land” finds him crooning about his sexual escapades, “John Carpenter” gives us a little insight on the life he’s been leading since his rise to fame.

”I Was Never Mad At Him At Any Point”
Supermodel Chrissy Teigen again addressed rumors that her fiance, R&B singer John Legend, had been cheating on her with groupies in New York City. Teigen spoke to HipHollywood about the false reports.
âI have this thing about justice and proving people wrong and getting my point out there,â Teigen shared.
âIt was just such a ridiculous thing to put out there. We are fine. Why would you ever try and put something out there that would hurt somebodyâs relationship? Thatâs malicious and mean ⦠I was never mad at him at any point, it was just the fact that people would come to me and say, âHey is this true?â No itâs not true,â Chrissy explained.
The Weeknd returns with a teaser of a new song, which he posted to his YouTube account. He didn’t explain further, simply titling the clip “John Carpenter.”
But 21-second snippet was enough to elicit a positive reaction from fans. “I’ve died,” wrote one YouTube user, while another added, “Those were a heavenly 20 seconds of KISSLAND honestly, more please.”
In March, he announced that Kiss Land would be the title of his next album.
The Weeknd released his Trilogy compilation in November featuring material off his three mixtapes—House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence. The album debuted at No. 4, selling 86,000 copies in its first week.
Britain’s John Newman brings soul to the world of synthetic music with his debut single, “Love Me Again.” Make sure you wait until the minute mark of this song before disregarding it, because that’s when it breaks into its danceable climax. Newman’s debut single has only been out one day and has already climbed to number one on HypeMachine’s charts. If this is any indication of how well-received Newman can be, expect him to infiltrate your radio in the not too distant future. ”When Do I Get One of Those Vanessa Bryant Rings?”
The New York Post reported that R&B singer John Legend was spotted in some New York City bathroom getting freaky with a groupie this week, but his fiancee, swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen isn’t buying it.
She hopped on Twitter to make a few sarcastic comments about the “scandal.”
“Just read John cheated on me and in the uber-credible Post,” she tweeted. “I’m just heartbroken as it’s definitely not typical post bullsh*t.”
The @nypost is normally so kind to me. And I’m normally not the one to use the term sh*t rag so I guess we’re both a little off today,” she continued. “Gonna buy a parrot for the sole reason of it sh*tting on the post every day. Also the singing and companionship.”
She later asked Legend: “When do I get one of those Vanessa Bryant rings?”
John Legend invites you to the party of the year in his sexiest video yet for “Who Do We Think We Are” featuring Rick Ross. The dapper crooner hosts a lavish mansion soirée, where guests dress up and dress down.
In the explicit version of The Great Gatsby-inspired clip, he makes out with half-naked models, who smoke cigarettes and prance around him, while others stay dripped in jewels and boa constrictors.
The G.O.O.D. Music singer’s album Love in the Future, co-produced by Kanye West and Dave Tozer, will arrive on June 25.
Watch the clean and explicit versions below.
Some would say that visuals are a lost art in the music game. While times, and budgets, have certainly changed, John Legend is one of the artists that still take pride in delivering quality treatments.
With that, we receive shots for “Who Do We Think We Are,” in which an elegant soiree filled with women draped in minimal clothing plays the back drop. The video isn’t exactly safe for work, but it’s far from raunchy. Think high art meets eroticism, a la something you’d expect from another G.O.O.D. friend.
Beautiful women of multiple persuasions are seemingly everywhere in a mansion Legend occupies, leaving the Grammy-nominated singer no choice but to get his feel of interaction. Rick Ross assists his efforts with a smooth verse from a dark lit space outside of the party.
“Who Do We Think We Are” is the lead single from Legend’s forthcoming LP Love In The Future, releasing June 25. See the captivating video below.
