Jay-Z and Beyoncé weren’t in Miami Beach just to look at and purchase art during the Art Basel Miami festival this past weekend. The Hip-Hop power couple was also on hand to hold another exclusive launch party for Hova’s D’ussé brand of high-end cognac.
Back in late September, Jigga and Bey held court at NYC uptown hotspot La Marina to promote the Bacardi ultra luxury cognac. The couple continued to rep the D’ussé brand in South Beach at spots that included an exclusive dinner at Katsuya at the SLS Hotel and a fight party (to see Manny Paquiuiao get knocked the f-ck out) at Foxhole. The weekend festivities came to to a close with the the official Miami D’ussé launch party at LIV Nightclub, where all rappers, with a bottle service budget, gravitate to in Miami.
While at Liv, some of the guests that enjoyed D’ussé botttle service included Kelly Rowland, The-Dream, DJ Irie, Young Chris and, of course, Memphis Bleek. Trinidad James made it onto the guestlist, too. Art Basel is about art, and the duo was spotted at Jose Parla’s book launch party, too.
While Jigga hawks liquor, Beyoncé caught a sweet deal to endorse Pepsi that will reportedly be worth million. Check out photos of Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and some of their friends, hanging out in M.I. Yayo in the gallery.

According to The YBF, Jay and Bey attended the show and screening for José Parlá & JR’s book “The Wrinkles of the City, Havana, Cuba. To commemorate the release, José Parlá built an interactive installation, which was called Cafécito Neptuno and included Cuban food to bring it all to life.
When she wasn’t hanging with Jay, Beyonce spent time with Kelly Rowland and her mother Tina Knowles, checking out the art on display, and the 31-year-old star shared the moments with her fans via Tumblr.

After scoping out some artwork with her mother, cousin, and Kelly Rowland earlier in the day, Beyoncé met up with Jay-Z for dinner during Art Basel Miami Beach. The superstar couple grabbed a bite to eat with her fellow Destiny’s Child diva and The-Dream at Soho Beach House on Sunday night. Pepsi’s million brand ambassador was radiant in a short red dress, while Mr. Carter kept it casual in a Nets cap.

”He Listens, He Responds Sometimes…”
Game is notorious for sparking beefs with rappers of all ages and levels of fame. The West Coast rhymer has gone after Jay-Z before, even, and Game recently spoke to VIBE TV about Jay and shared his belief that Jay has heard his shots but quietly respects him artistically.
“Yeah, you probably won’t ever see that. I pretty much f*cked that up in the beginning of my career,” Game said. “But I’m probably one of the only cats that ever, like, went at, you know, Jay-Z’s neck and still had a career after which is risky. I remember fighting, having a real argument — with the mother of my children because she was a Jay-Z fan. She was like, ‘You don’t know what you’re doing, he’s gonna come back and we’re not going to be able to survive.’ … I did it anyway, Jay never responded, number one he’s smart and I think he knows that I’m reckless and there’s nothing I can’t say but he’s got to be filtered because he’s more of a businessman and a little bit older and he’s doing all these business deals. So he can’t really go as reckless as I can but once I go, I’m going.”
“Plus, Jay, I think in his own right, respects me as a lyricist,” Game continued. “He doesn’t have to do a song with me but I know that he listens and respects me and responds sometimes. Like on ‘One Blood,’ when I hit him with ‘You 38 and you still rapping, uhhh’ and then he came on Kingdom Come he said ‘I used to think rapping at 38 was ill, ’til last year I grossed about 38 mil.’ So he listens, he responds sometimes, that’s cool in it’s own right. Just having Jay’s ears and thinking I’m important enough for him to dig deep enough for him to respond is cool to me. If we don’t ever do a song, f*ck it. But if we ever did, it’d probably be some crazy sh*t because I would really go into my trick bag for that one.”
LeBron James is the new 2012 Sportsman of the Year, and he copped his award at a big honoree ceremony tonight in NYC. And his fiancee Savannah Brinson was there to celebrate, as well as his homie Jay-Z and wife Beyonce.
LeBron and Savannah made it a celebratory date night while attending the 2012 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year award presentation at Espace Wednesday night in NYC.
The twosome made their way to the Miami Heat star’s big awards ceremony, and had a few of their A-list friends there to celebrate the ocassion as well–The Carters:
Savannah looked great in a mesh detailed purple cocktail dress while Bey kept it cool in an oxblood pantsuit. LeBron kept it dapper in an off-black suit himself.
Fab couple indeed.

Jay-Z has developed a great relationship with Lebron James over the years, and on Wednesday night (December 5) both he and Beyonce attended the 2012 Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year ceremony in NYC to honor his big win.
The Miami Heat star attended the award presentation with his fiancée Savannah Brinson on his arm at Espace in NYC. The Carters joined in to honor their good friend, who didn’t hide his excitement by tweeting a picture of him and his fiancé on the way to the event with the caption, “I’m good.”
Both Jay-Z and LeBron looked dapper in their clean cut suits while the ladies added color, with Savannah wearing a purple mesh cut-out dress and Bey wearing a red pantsuit. Pictures from the even show the foursome sitting up front with James’ US Olympic Team coach Mike “Coach K” Krzyzewski.
James is the first Heat player to win the award since teammate Dwayne Wade took the title in 2006. It comes as no surprise given that he became an NBA champion for the first time, won the NBA Finals MVP trophy, helped the U.S. win Olympic gold for the second time and picked up his third NBA MVP award this year.
The NBA baller was all smiles throughout the night. It’s not hard to smile when you’re being honored for Sportsman of the Year, having the Hov and Bey there to cheer you on. He posted a picture on Twitter of the four of them posing together with the comment “Jay, @baddiebey, @savannahrb & myself. #Clique #itsjustdifferent#grownandsexy.” LeBron even tweeted a picture of himself standing next to Jay and his US Olympic coach, “My 2 mentors in life! K & Jay.” If that’s not precious I don’t know what is.
