Jay-Z and LeBron James Host ‘Two Kings’ Dinner with Beyoncé, Drake, & Diddy

The hottest ticket in town during NBA All-Star Weekend in Houston was Jay-Z and LeBron James’ 6th annual Sprite “Two Kings” dinner. The hip-hop mogul and NBA titan dressed in their best and held court with power players in the fields of music, sports, media, and tech at the swanky dinner at RDG + Bar Annie on Saturday night.
While her documentary was airing on HBO, Beyoncé celebrated with her husband and famous friends including Drake, Ne-Yo, Diddy, and Kevin Hart. Guests feasted on a three-course menu including lobster salad, foie gras, prime rib, and red snapper, and danced to music by DJ Mick Boogie.

Shawn “JAY Z” Carter and LeBron James co-hosted a private dinner yesterday during the 2013 All-Star weekend with their closest friends in entertainment, media, sports and tech–including Twitter’s CEO Dick Costolo (pictured below), Beyonce, Diddy, Drake, Irv Gotti, J Cole, Ne-Yo and DJ Mick Boogie.
Beyonce kept it chic in a tailored white suit. And the guests noshed on a two course meal with choices of lobster salad, foie gras "poor boys", gulf red snapper and roasted chicken breast. Gotta have the yummies for the celeb friends.
Drake & Ne-Yo were spotted chillin’ at their table.
Diddy came through to support his homies.
J.Cole came out to party with his Roc Nation boss.
Bey showed off her own bottle of Ace of Spades.
Basketball wives Larsa Pippen and Adrienne Bosh partied it up witht heir men Chris & Scottie.
And Bron snapped pics with his homies–fashion designer Frankie Walker, also from Akron, and rapper Ducky $mallz.

Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Drake, Trey Songz, & Nas Invade Houston for NBA All-Star Weekend

Following last weekend’s Grammys, the stars migrated from L.A. to Houston for NBA All-Star Weekend. Beyoncé returned to her native H-town with Jay-Z to celebrate Michael Jordan’s 50th birthday at the Museum of Fine Arts. A dapper Ludacris and Nas also rubbed elbows with music and sports MVPs at the swanky soirée on Friday.
Across town, Diddy hosted a kickoff party at The Drake with guests including Drake, Trey Songz, and French Montana.
Meek Mill dropped racks at the strip club with Future and Trae Tha Truth, and hit the stage with Fabolous, Pusha T, and DJ Drama. “#real #flyest #respected ni**as in da game #houston the life is so exciting!” said the MMG MC.
The party continues tonight at the annual “Two Kings” dinner hosted by Jay-Z and LeBron James. See more pics from Friday’s festivities below.

Beyonce traveled back to her home state of Texas to party it up at the 2013 All-Star weekend with her husband Jay-Z. And they hit up Michael Jordan‘s big 50th Birthday Bash last night alongside Carmelo & LaLa Anthony, Drake, Kobe & Vanessa Bryant, Nas, Ludacris & Eudoxie, LeBron, Teyana Taylor and plenty of ballers.

Drizzy loves the fans. He was spotted hitting up MJ’s 50th’s birthday bash at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts last night. Word has it MJ rented out the gorgeous space for a 0,000 donation–which is pocket change for the man who makes mill a year dropping his Air Jordan shoes and endorsements. And it was a packed out party to celebrate the man who is the prototype for a top NBA baller.
MJ’s fiancee’ Yvette was front and center with her man.
Beyonce was spotted chillin’ on the couches as she partied it up with the people close by.
And Julius escorted the couple out through the mob of people.
Vanessa and Kobe Bryant snapped pics with the Anthonys. And yes, Carmelo’s wearing his ring. Good sign.

And she posted pics from the dance floor with her girl ‘Nessa and her fab girl Eudoxie.

La posted pics of her man, who is also a part of the Jordan Brand with Nike, cheesing it up with Mr. Jordan himself.
Bron and MJ chopped it up at the party.
Teyana Taylor–who just released her own Harlem GLC sneaker through Adidas this weekend–kicked it with LeBron.
Even Miguel and Houston’s own Bun B were there.
And Scottie Pippen came out with his wife Larsa to support his long time teammate and best friend.
And if you were wondering where Chris’ wife Jada Paul and LeBron’s fiancee’ Savannah were….they are chillin’ in Catalina this weekend for Jada’s b-day. They tweeted a pic from their zip-lining today:
Hopefully they’ll be in Houston by tomorrow for their fellas’ big night.

“Oprah’s Next Chapter” with Beyonce premieres this weekend, but an excerpt has been released from the highly-anticipated interview. In the clip, Bey discussed her relationship with hip-hop superstar Jay-Z–and she reveals just how slow they initially took things when they got together. “I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. It just gives me such a foundation,” said Mrs. Carter. “We were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date–on the phone for a year and a half. And that foundation is so important in a relationship. Just to have someone that you just like is so important. Someone that is honest.” |
Beyoncé Praises Jay-Z in Oprah Interview

With a day to go until “Oprah’s Next Chapter” airs on OWN, Oprah has released a couple more excerpts from her exclusive sit-down interview with Beyoncé. In the latest clips, the private superstar gets candid about her relationship with Jay-Z and passion for performing.
The 31-year-old singer credits her husband for making her who she is today. “I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man. It just gives me such a foundation,” said Mrs. Carter.
“We were friends first for a year and a half before we went on any date—on the phone for a year and a half. And that foundation is so important in a relationship. Just to have someone that you just like is so important. Someone that is honest.”
Oprah teased her about keeping their relationship so private. “I took it as far as I can take it,” laughed Bey.
Despite becoming a mother, she hasn’t lost her passion for performing. “I feel so fortunate to do my job. I love my job. I love singing. I love the way it feels,” said Blue Ivy’s mom, who was back on stage three months after giving birth.
Oprah’s interview with Beyoncé airs on Saturday at 8 p.m. on OWN, followed by the documentary Beyoncé: Life Is But a Dream at 9 p.m. on HBO.

Fresh off their 2013 GRAMMY performance, Justin Timberlake just dropped his official video for "Suit & Tie" with his homie Jay-Z. Check out their vintage visuals inside….
JT is on his comeback tip, and he’s back to chillin’ in that blue eyed soul lane again.
In his first video off his upcoming album, The 20/20 Experience (March 19), the former boy bander now newlywed is featured in black & white while performing at a nightclub. Hov walks up on stage to spit his lines while puffing on a cigar. And the fellas vibe out.

Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake In ‘Suit & Tie’ Video: Best Still Shots

If you’re not into Valentine’s Day – that’s cool, because here’s another reason to celebrate: the music video for Justin Timberlake’s comeback single “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z premiered today. While there are no chocolates or roses involved, the slick looking video delivers an entire 5 minutes and 30 seconds of smooth moves, silhouetted girls, and dramatic jumping shots. In all black and white, the video’s retro glam feel meshes perfectly with the dynamic duo, who share a number of moments on screen. Here are our favorite still shots from the video:
Just kickin’ it
Put JT and Jay in a pimped out bachelor pad together and this is what you get. Here, Justin is in the kitchen having a snack (perhaps eating a bowl of cereal). Meanwhile, Jay is relaxing on the couch with a drink in one hand and a cigar in the other. They’re just two pals watching some basketball – don’t mind them.
Recording session
In the recording studio, HOV appears to be taking yet another cigar break while Justin takes a call. The pair sport identical vests but no jackets. It’s as if they got suited up for a big event then decided to go make a track together instead.
Nightlife vibes
Justin and Jay are spotlighted on stage in a swanky, packed nightclub. Jay is perched on a stool with his hand in his pocket. To his left, Justin, who now has the cigar, puffs some smoke into the air creating a sultry whirl of white. So…they smoke a lot.
Dap it up
In the studio again, J-squared (that’s Justin + Jay) share a tender moment. They dap it up, possibly to mark the end of a successful recording session? If only we could get in on this.
JT gets his Gene Kelly on
In the last shot of the video, Justin makes a splash by doing a Gene Kelly-esque move à la “Singing In The Rain.” As a great dancer himself, it’s nice for JT to pay tribute to the greats that came before him.

With news still swirling regarding a multiple-city stadium tour, Justin Timberlake continues to mark his return to music – this time presenting the visuals for the Jay-Z-assisted “Suit & Tie.” With directing duties handled by none other than Hollywood heavyweight David Fincher, the black-and-white treatment marks a reunion of sorts between director and subject – having worked together extensively on The Social Network. Chock full of classic imagery and timeless ensembles from Tom Ford, March 19 and the drop of The 20/20 Experience can’t come soon enough.

Directed by David Fincher (The Social Network), the black-and-white visuals co-star Jay-Z and feature some slick moves from J.T. The dapper gentlemen—and potential tourmates—get dressed up in their finest tuxedos and perform on stage in the Rat Pack-inspired clip.
