Nike Air Command Force Black/Grey/Jade/Pink

The classic basketball silhouette of Nike Air Command Force is revised in the colorway of Black, Wolf Grey, Hyper Jade and Hyper Pink. Black serves as the dominating shade across its suede, mesh and leather upper, while Wolf Grey is applied on the sole, Swoosh and portion of the heel counter. Bright pops of Hyper Jade and Hyper Pink round out the color scheme throughout. The focus of functionality is present in the Air-Fit System consisting of an inflatable/deflatable Air bladder situated behind, above and below the ankle which creates a desired fit. First releasing in 1990, the the Air Command Force still demands attention two decades later.

Nike Air Force 1 CMFT ‘Kyrie Irving’

For 30 years, the Nike Air Force 1 has taken shape in multiple iterations, collaborations and customizations, and helped define an entire culture of enthusiasts. Now the pinnacle of street, sport and culture will be badged for professional basketball star Kyrie Irving. The two colorways feature a clear TPU in the vamp and quarter panel to allow for visibility. Reflective paneling is paired with the clear TPU the University Red/Black remains more traditional, mixed with a classic leather upper. Kyrie’s signature and “K” design adorn the upper and his No. 2 is on the insole. In addition, the shoe comes with a custom Nike Elite sock in University Red and Game Royal featuring Irving’s personal mantra — “Hungry & Humble” — a motivational phrase he has stood by since he was a kid.

Over two decades later, the sneaker that defined an era of basketball excellence makes its long-awaited return to the streets. A leader of the Force lineage, the Air Command Force kept big men on top of their game with maximum support and impact protection. The Air Command Force returns this Saturday, November 8th in true form, complete with its fully-functional Air-Fit System. The system consists of an inflatable Air bladder placed in an anatomically correct position behind, above and below the ankle. The Air-Fit System can be inflated by pressing the bladder located on the lateral side of the shoe, and deflated to create a desired fit and feel by depressing the valve cylinder on the heel.

Truly feeling like a vintage sneaker, the shoe was initially released in 1990 during a golden age for hoops. Pushing cultural relevance even further, the kicks were popularized the character Billy Hoyle played by Woody Harrelson as seen in “White Men Can’t Jump”. In addition to that, the performance aspects are not to be overlooked: the shoe’s pump technology was Nike’s answer to Reebok back in 1991.
