The Canadian rapper kicked off his “Lights, Dreams and Nightmares” tour in Miami on September 20th, and apparently got the party cracking Rick James style when he later hit Miami Beach hotspot Liv Nightclub in the Fontainebleau Hotel. Sources say the rapper openly lit up a joint…and folks just happened to snap photos of it going down.
“I was sitting in the VIP section right next to Drake and he lit up a joint and began to smoke it freely,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “The whole area smelled like weed!”
When contacted, Drake’s reps had no response as to whether Drake violated a Florida State law banning smoking in restaurants, bars and nightclubs. But seeing that the "green" isn’t legal in Florida, we know what law he did violate. Sadly…with all these rappers busting out loads of weapons and cocaine…we’re thankful a joint is all it was.
But let’s not so blatantly break the law next time. You know they’re watching you and your crew. Hope Drake isn’t trying to end in Miami’s version of Rikers Island with an old-school Rick Ross as his corrections officer.

D’Atra Hicks, an actress who’s starred in many of Tyler Perry’s traveling plays like What Happens in the Dark and Madea’s Family Reunion recently made an appearance on "Divorce Court."
She admitted to abusing her husband and having anger management issues, which she deals with through singing and humming. Watch D’Atra "MMMMM-HMMMMMM. OH MY LAWD! WHOOO!" all through the court proceedings when you go inside…

D’Atra’s husband, Loren Harper, says he needs treatment for the physical and mental abuse he suffered and believes his estranged wife should pay for his therapy.
Meanwhile, D’Atra says she was driven to madness because of Loren’s compulsive lying and affair with a woman he fathered a child with outside the marriage. Watch the video here:

While performing at the Low Low Car Show in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday, rapper Paul Wall went into the audience and went "Oops upside the head" of a fan…with his microphone. I mean…really?
Anywho, reports say Paul and an unidentified man exchanged words after the man gave Paul the middle finger during his performance.
Once the music stopped, and the crowd began to boo the "fan", security came and tossed the man out of the event.
No charges have been filed against Paul Wall yet.

Kanye West is still doing impromptu concerts and performing new singles in anticipation of his new album. He shook up Fashion Week by perfoming an unannounced show at New York City’s The Standard Hotel Thursday night at 3am. Those lucky enough to see him perform, including Naomi Campbell, got to see Kanye stand on top of the bar and belt out a few tracks.

Speaking of Kanye…with the 2010 MTV VMAs less than 24 hrs away, people are speculating what antics he might have up his sleeve. While we all would love to NEVER hear about the Kanye/Swift moment again, seems like chick won’t let it go, despite several apologizes. Sources say Taylor Swift will sing about how Yeezy nearly ruined her win last year.
SMH. MTV loves drama. They found a great target, Kanye is too unstable for them not to capitalize on the moment. I hope this ends pretty.

Partygoers at the Hotel Indigo got to listen to Dennis Rodman getting his freak on after he took six women up to his bedroom while wearing a cordless microphone. Promoters were astonished when they heard Rodman talking dirty over the music at their pool party in the early hours of Monday morning. Sources say Rodman had a lot to drink and had spent most of the night making shout-outs on the microphone. He later took six women to his hotel room and then…over the speakers, the room heard Rodman describing in full sexual detail what he wanted to do to the women. Promoters pulled the plug before it got any dirtier.
In Rodman’s defense, his agent, Darren Prince, said "He was unaware of the microphone being turned on . . . I do know he had a few drinks in him."
I’m sure he didn’t mean to do it. But what six women STILL want to sleep with Dennis Rodman?
Comedian Jay Pharoah, who has become an Youtube impersonation sensation, has been added as a new featured cast member to kick off the 36th season of "Saturday Night Live", which premieres on Sept. 25. Jay will be the first new Black cast member added since 2003.

In other WTF news, Shawty Lo’s babymama, Ecreia Laki Perez tried to sneak into a Fulton County courthouse wth a loaded .380 semi-automatic handgun. But wait…just in case that wasn’t enough protection…she also had a stungun/taser in her purse that was disguised as a cell phone. Mind you…this is the SAME courthouse where five years ago a crazed defendant killed a judge, a deputy and his clerk. Yet Ecreia told authorities she "forgot" the weapons were in her purse. *blank stare*
That’s a rough neighborhood when you get to the point that a pistol and taser are so commonplace you forget they are at the bottom of your purse like a new pack of Juicy Fruit.
