The second colorway of Jordan’s newest hybrid model, the Flight Remix, hit stores this week. Cloaked in Sport Blue, the Flight Remix incorporates a speckled midsole that morphs from black to blue and an icy midsole with some great Jordan imagery peeking through. The Jordan Flight Remix “Sport Blue” is now available at at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and online at Footlocker.com for $ 160.
The Jordan Flight Remix ‘Sport Blue’ is the foray and introduction of the ‘Sport Blue’ colorway. The hybrid strategy when it comes to Jordan Retro’s seems to be that new sneakers take themes from parallel retro styles, while taking the accent hue denoting the model’s nickname and blowing it up for the entire silhouette. Not unlike the Air Jordan 5, Air Jordan 15, and Air Jordan 22 that we’ve seen come together in the past, and this Remix seems to follow the path. The sneaker itself is a combination of highly sought-after details such as a speckled midsole, translucent outsole with the formidable color scheme of Sport Blue, Black and Cool Grey.
Available in stores and online tomorrow.
It’s always a big deal when an industry classic is released in its OG colorway so everyone stop what you are doing at once and mark down August 7th on your calendars because the OG White/Lyon Blue/Bold Berry/Black is back! Originally released in 1992 and made famous by the Fab Five at the University of Michigan, the Huarache was a staple on and off the hardwood in the early 90s, and was embraced by the Wolverines for its lack of in-your-face branding apparent on the shoe. One of Tinker Hatfield’s most well known collaborations, the Huarache has enjoyed a number of retro releases since then and continues to resonate with sneaker lovers, generations after it hit stores for the first time. The Huarache combines smooth white leather that accounts for most of the upper with classic 90s blues and purples that take care for the neoprene booty for an ultra comfortable fit. The tongue and the heel counter are the only places that Nike puts branding on this shoe and they are subtle at best.
The Nike Air Flight Huarache OG “Bold Berry” will drop on Thursday, August 7th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $ 115. To find out which store near you will carry the shoe and if that store will implement the sweepstakes ticket procedure, please visit the Foot Locker Launch Locator.

The newest model to a growing arsenal of Jordan Brand retro hybrid creations is the Air Jordan Flight Remix. Using features predominantly from the V and XX2 with hints of the AJ XV, the first release of the Air Jordan Flight Remix will be a black/vibrant yellow-cool grey drop. Features from the AJ V are probably the most obvious to the eyes of early Jordan Retro lovers. The mid foot web sits in the middle of the upper below the unmistakeable ankle support of the V and the iconic 3M tongue. From the XX2 the Air Jordan Flight Remix uses the accented stitching pattern and heel plate inspiration, as well as the general shape of the silhouette. And last but not least, the rubber strip up the heel and toe box shape are taken from the XV. The shoe’s midsole is a new look from Jordan, not seen on any of the three models used to blend the Remix but it does include a V inspired design “teeth” design on the icy outsole.
The Air Jordan Flight Remix “Vibrant Yellow” drops Wednesday, July 26th at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and at Footlocker.com for $ 160.
After decades of research and development at the Nike headquarters, the Jordan Brand steps outside of its normalcy to create the brand’s first ever running silhouette named the Jordan Flight Runner.
The specs on the sneaker include ultra-supportive Dynamic Fit technology alongside Nike’s signature Zoom cushioning for comfort during training and conditioning. This versatile running shoe features an advanced heat-and-pressure fusion process — creating a strong, exceptionally lightweight bond.
Fused mesh in the forefoot combined with welded shroud creates a sleek sneaker overall. With an emphasis on heel support and responsive cushioning, the Jordan Flight Runner helps keep the foot in place for bigger, stronger athletes.

In this edition of Flight School, we take it back to the heyday of one of basketball history’s shining moments. In 1992, Magic Johnson announced his sudden retirement from the NBA. The news shocked the world and left fans in disarray that they were to never see “Magic” on the court again. However, he still was accepted to play for Team USA in the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, Spain. Longtime endorser Converse laced him up with the Converse Magic USA for one last time on the court spreading no-look passes and sharing court presence with the likes of Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, Clyde Drexler and the list goes on.
The Nike Sonic Flight (Black/Anthracite/Red) fuses Gary Payton’s most notable signature sneakers: utilizing the frontal portion of the Nike Air Zoom GP I and the monkey paw of the Air Zoom Flight “The Glove”. Although the shoe is named the “Sonic”, it’s in a black and red colorway that mirror Payton’s championship run with the Miami Heat. The materials that create the shoe are black nubuck on the base layer, while university red leather overlays, with the two creating a gradient fade on the paw.
