Blu Talks NoYork, New Album w/ Exile, etc (Video)

Blu chops it up with HardKnockTV about his major label debut, NoYork. Saying he has enough songs to make it a triple album (which will be broken up into a mixtape and a couple EPs) and that he is experimenting with a more electric hip hop feel (in the vain of Johnson&Jonson). He speaks on the follow up to Below the Heavens, saying him and Exile have another (very personal) album complete and that they will not be calling it Below the Heavens 2.
Lastly, he responds to the folks saying he needs to put out more music. Reminding y’all that he’s released countless projects in the last few years. Below the Heavens, Johnson&Jonson, ADayLate&ADollarShort, theGODleeBarnes(lp), The Piece Talks, HerFavoriteColo(u)r, BeSene, etc.

Blu & Exile – Seasons

While the Northern Hemisphere is covered in snow, the Could Below The Heavens collaborators Blu and Exile be make a surprise return with a new winter-inspired video for their track “Seasons”. Similar to “Not U”, a big budget concept is avoided here since the clip seems to contain plenty of random shots. At the end of clip, this potent duo announce new music very soon. Stay tuned.

Exile’s recently released remix album “AM/FM” delivers another stellar video, this time combining multiple remixes from various producers, into one music video. Co-Directed by Exile and Greg The Dude, this video for “Population Control” continues Exile’s interest in stop animation, as the original album, “Radio” featured a stop animation video for the song “We’re All In Power”. The result is a rather trippy experience, and if you are prone to seizures, look away.
