Clear Footage Of Consequence & Joe Budden’s Altercation (Video)

Over the past month and some change, we’ve heard all about Consequence and Joe Budden’s issues on Love & Hip Hop. We saw Joe confront Cons during a Hot97 interview, we saw amateur footage of their (second) altercation, heard accounts from both Joe and Cons and now we’ve got actual footage. As aired tonight during the reunion show, the above clip shows Consequence (1:18 mark) coming from behind and punching Joe Budden square in the back of the head*. After the clip shows, the two continue to bicker back and forth until they try to meet in the green room and settle it like men. Overall? Hip Hop lost.
* Which was followed by Tahiry giving Cons a shot.
‘Love & Hip Hop NY’ Reunion Recap: Joe Budden And Consequence Fight

Last night on ‘Love & Hip Hop NY’s’ reunion, more truths came to light and not one, but two fights broke out–including one between Joe Budden and Consequence.
Yandy first cleared up that her creepy cousin and trainer, Maurice, often takes pictures of her. When Yandy herself saw her provocative photo, she knew it was inappropriate. She opened up about her relationship and got emotional talking about Mendeecee’s possible jail time. Yandy shared that her man is in Rochester, awaiting a bail hearing, and she refused to answer any questions about him getting locked up for a prolonged period of time.
A fan asked Joe and Rich Dollaz about their naked photos. Joe claimed that his phone was stolen from a strip club but the photo was doctored. Rich also claimed that his photo was falsified but Erica said he was lying. “I stand by what I said,” said Erica. Rich and Erica’s smash buddy Tiffany then joined onstage. “You were easy,” said Erica about how she scooped Tiffany and then threw her on a “dollar van.” Erica then claimed that Rich used Tiff to get dirt on her while Rich and Tiff denied it all. According to them, Erica came onto Tiffany. Tiffany then said that she and Rich will always be cool but they’re not in a relationship.
Tahiry Punched Consequence To Defend Joe Budden, Jen The Pen Just Screams
Cons and Jen got into the hot seat and still seemed to be going through their religious issues. Mona then asked Jen about her racially-charged statement about getting a job before Raqi because she’s white. Jen denied ever saying that she would get a job “before someone” due to race but Raqi stood by her allegation. Raqi and Cons then threw jabs at each other. Rashidah Ali then jumped in and asked what kind of Muslim woman Raqi was, acting like this. Rah and Raqi then almost throw punches and Rah took her shoes off in the process (while Joe sat back and recorded on his cell phone).
Enough of that. Remember Cons and Lore’l's race wars over that song Cons was penning? Cons then said that his line about “light skin is the right skin” was inspired by L’orel and it was not meant to offend. He then said that one line does not define an artist. Lore’l says that she understands Cons’ point of view but she made her decision to nix the song for her fans of all shades.
Finally, we saw a huge fight break out between Cons and Joe Budden during the commercial break. Out of nowhere, Cons punched Joe in the back of the head and all hell broke loose. “I don’t tolerate disrespect,” said Cons. He said that Joe Budden interrupted a radio interview he did and that was disrespectful. Joe blasted back that Cons and Jen were running their mouths in interviews and he wasn’t feeling it. Cons then said that Joe threatened him in another interview and it was the breaking point. Cons had no qualms about hitting Joe in the back of the head and he shouted Tahiry out for smacking him at the side of the head. Joe and Cons then negotiated fighting off-camera in the green room or bathroom. Security then thwarted that. “This is ridiculous. Let’s take a time out,” said Mona.
The girls all came together in the end to talk about the future: Erica said her book is coming out as is “more craziness.” Yandy is working on her blog and new client Lore’l, who is working on her new project.. Raqi is going on a DJ tour. Olivia is working on her album. Jen is working on revamping her blog. Rashidah’s man “put a ring on it” while Tahiry says she has more music projects on the horizon, but refused to talk about any more love with Joe.

”We Should Make ‘Who’s Derek?’ A Trending Topic”
During his scuffle with Joe Budden, rapper Consequence claims that his girlfriend, Jen “The Pen,” came across Budden’s cellphone. During Cons’ interview with Angie Martinez, he implied that Budden could be involved in a homosexual relationship. “Joe, I guess because he was so excited, he left his phone at the crime scene,” he explained. “The thing is, you’re going to love where this is going — I’m making sure I’ve got everything that I need to have and look what I got, Jen showed me his phone. Look, first text, it’s from Raqi Thunda. … Next call and text, from Kaylin. … Then there’s a Rita person. … Then there’s somebody named Derek. And Derek is basically saying, ‘Don’t do anything stupid. We’re hanging on by a thin thread. I will come see you after the reunion. I love you and I miss you.’ And I guess he must have told Derek ‘Hey, why don’t you come to London Wednesday?’ And then there’s emoticons of an engagement ring and a baby. Here’s what I’m saying, we live in New York. It’s 2013. … We never met anyone named Derek on any episode so I think we should make ‘Who’s Derek” a trending topic. … Ain’t no cameras Angie. And here’s the thing, –I was so disgusted I broke the phone. I just threw it, broke it. Listen, but I still got proof. I still got proof. Don’t get it twisted. Tahiry Jose Talks Punching Consequence + Chamique Holdsclaw PLEADS “Not Guilty” To Aggravated ASSAULT Of Ex-Girlfriend

This week, reality tv star Tahiry Jose laid hands on rapper Consequence after he allegedly assaulted her "ex-boyfriend" Joe Budden. Get Tahiry’s side of the story inside and see what former WNBA baller Chamique Holdsclaw had to say about allegedly assaulting her ex-girlfriend.
We told you yesterday that there were a number of dust-ups at the "L&HH ATL" reunion taping. And now we have another first-person account from one of the fights. We saw Consequence being jumped by Joe Budden and his crew, but Tahiry Jose got a few licks in too beforehand.
The "Devil" singer called into two of New York’s most popular morning shows, "The Breakfast Club" on Power 105.1 and "The Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg" show on Hot 97 to explain her actions.
The story Tahiry told was simple–she retaliated against Consequence after he sucked-punched Joe. She told TBC,
"We had a little two minute break, and as Joey and I were walking out somebody flies over my head and sucker punches him in the back of his ear. Joe was walking out, so it was all unexpected. I jumped up. He jumped up. Security rushes him [Joe] on to the other side of that room, and completely forgot about Tahiry."
Since security forgot to hold her down, Tahiry used the window of opportunity to hit Consequence in the face!
She said, "You just ain’t gonna run around my crew, whoever’s around me, and think you’re going to roll up on anybody like that."
And while sources report that Tahiry and Jose were holding hands at reunion taping last night…and TheYBF.com was at the taping and heard Joe HIMSELF say he and Tahiry were "working on seeing each other again", she remained coy when asked if she was back with Joe. And when asked if Kaylin (Joe’s latest girlfriend) was still in the picture, Tahiry claimed that she didn’t know what was going on at Joe’s house. Joe said at the reunion, though, that Kailyn has already moved out of his house. But Kailyn still seems to be in the picture based on their Instagram pics. Is Joe playing the Stevie J role now?

And in other fight news……
A few months ago we told you about Chamique Holdsclaw, a former WNBA star, who was jailed for allegedly firing a bullet into the window of her former girlfriend’s car and smashing the car’s windows.
Now free on bond, Chamique showed up in an Atlanta courtroom this morning and pleaded "not guilty" to all the charges facing her. The reportedly scorned chick pleaded the following: not guilty to aggravated assault, not guilty to criminal damage in the first degree, not guilty criminal damage in the second degree, and not guilty of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Chamique will have her day in court soon, but the odds seem stacked against her now that her battle with clinical depression and attempted suicide in 2006 have been made public. We will keep you posted….
Snuffed: 10 Things Consequence Can Do To Stop Catching The Fade [PHOTOS]

Consequence has become an interesting character on Love & Hip Hop New York. Judging by the clips before the start of this season, the Queens native was the last person we assumed would be such a huge embarrassment, but it’s been a beautiful surprise.
The latest chapter of this story, finds Cons attending the LHHNY reunion, and getting into it with Joe Budden. These two have been going at it for a while now but things came to a head, ending with Cons getting pushed to the ground, footage of which was caught on tape, and promptly posted to World Star.
As luck would have it, the attack came days after the rapper angered viewers over his “light-skin is the right skin” lyrics. To be fair, this kind of behavior is nothing new for Cons. He’s slandered Kanye West and his own cousin, Q-Tip, in the past, so we shouldn’t really be surprised that he keeps getting involved in bullsh-t.
Because we care about this dude’s well-being, Hip-Hop Wired has put together a bunch of things Cons can do to make sure he doesn’t get pushed down on a sidewalk…ever again.

In the wake of the tussle between Consequence, Joe Budden and Budden’s girlfriend Tahiry, the buxom model decided to go on “The Breakfast Club” and explain her side of what happened. Tahiry apparently snuffed Cons one good time, and she said she just retaliated out of instinct. “We had a little two minute break and as Joey and I were walking out, somebody flies over my head,” Tahiry explained. “Joe was walking out, it was all unexpected. I jumped up, he jumped up, security rushes him to the other side of that room and the police forgot about [me] and right when security managed to get hands on Consequence, who was running in the opposite direction, I, you know, I reacted. It’s human nature. Well, like I said, Joey didn’t even get a chance [to defend himself] — he basically jumped on Joey’s back. I thought it was a girl — I expected that from a woman. I’m just saying [I thought it was] a woman in general, not everybody likes each other on the cast.” “You’re not going run around macho and think you’re going to run up on anybody like that,” Tahiry added, before referencing Cons’ outspoken girlfriend, Jen “The Pen.” “At this point, she should stay in her lane and I’m over here. At the end of the day, you can’t just creep up behind somebody. What man does that and not expect to get some hands put on him? It’s just retarded.” |

There’s been some tension brewing between Joe Budden and Consequence for some time now and it finally spilled over into a physical altercation during the “Love & Hip Hop” NY reunion taping this week. Cons and Joe shared their version of events on Twitter, and on Thursday morning Tahiry dialed into Hot 97 to confirm that she definitely threw a fist at Consequence after he sucked punched Joe.
“They were switching the set, we walked right past [Consequence], then out of nowhere, I feel somebody over my head just hit Joey in the head,” she explained. “Joey was rushed to the other side of the room by like eight security and Consequence was then running back but they forgot about Tahiry so I caught a good one.”
Of course we’re curious whether or not she got in a solid hit, but she wasn’t really sure, adding, “It was probably a girly-girl punch that him him straight in the face.”
Joe and Tahiry haven’t been in a relationship for a minute, but she says that she would’ve defended whoever she was walking with. “It’s human nature. You can’t just attack people and not expect people to react,” she said. “I’m walking with whoever and you’re my dude, you are around me, then it’s either all or nothing. That’s just how I am.”
Meanwhile WSHH obtained a video of the altercation spilling outside of the studio. Cons’ lady Jen The Pen can be heard screaming at the top of her lungs and threatening to call the cops while security guards try to rescue her man from the hands of Joe’s crew. Strangely enough, Consequence is smiling as this all goes down.

Video footage has leaked of Joe Budden‘s people jumping his "Love & Hip Hop" co-star Consequence outside the reunion show taping last night. Check it inside, plus Kandi filing papers on Kim Zolciak….
After last night’s drama at the LAHH NY reunion taping, the foolery continued out into the streets of New York. And it was all caught on tape.
In between takes of the taping last night, Consequence was in his feelings and approached Joe Budden from behind and punched him in the back of the head. Tons of security got involved and Consequence ran away….after Tahiry (who was walking with Joe) hit Consequence herself.
And apparently, outside the NEP Penn Studios, Joe’s people tried to get Cons back. And from the footage, you can see some guys trying to drag his toothy self in the street. And Jen did what she does best, yell annoying nothings from inside the car. Cons tweeted this after:
@JoeBudden Y’all hit like bitches #straightlikethat Actually Tahiry hit me harder nigga. I told the Police that I don’t press charges.

While both ladies gear up for a full seaosn of their own BRAVO spinoff shows, Kandi Burruss has filed papers on her former "RHOA" castmate Kim Zolciak.
According to CourtHouse News, Kandi claims former cast member Kimberliegh Zolciak-Biermann illegally licensed and distributed "Tardy For The Party", which Kandi wrote with co-plaintiff Rodney Richard. And Kandi filed the lawsuit in Federal Court today.
The ladies are filming the RHOA reunion show this week….and yes, both are showing up. Kim already tweeted about the suit saying:
People will do anything for publicity! So funny yet so sad!
And her daughter Brielle got in on the beef as she tweeted:
@Kandi appreciate you making fun of me for the song I wrote when I was 9 years old… obviously there was something you liked about it
We’re surprised it took Kandi this long to file because we all know she’s about her paper. But since Kim hasn’t had a real job in….a very long time….it’ll be just as interesting to see how she coughs up this money. Especially after popping out 2 more kids since she first did this song.

Consequence and Joe Budden came to blows yesterday (March 12th) following the taping of a “Love & Hip Hop” reunion. Despite differing accounts of what happened, Consequence has been using Twitter to continuously mock Budden–even though it sounds like he got the worst of the brawl. “Cons you pressing charges??? Absolutely Not!!!,” Cons tweeted. “Actually I laughed at that sh*t!!!” “@JoeBudden Y’all hit like b*tches #straightlikethat Actually Tahiry hit me harder n***a,” Consequence added. “I told the Police that I don’t press charges.” |
