atmos x PORTER – Hawaiian Collection

Joining hands with fellow Tokyo-based bag brand, PORTER, atmos introduces their latest range dubbed the Hawaiian Collection. It is easy to see where the inspiration for this collection came from, the 50th state in U.S. However, the Japanese retail store and brand took the road less traveled, by focusing its graphics on pineapples instead of flowers or surfing. Consisting of Hawaiian shirts, large tote bags, banana shoulder bags, and wallets, the latter two pieces are offered in white, navy, and yellow versions. Hermés Atmos Clock by Jaeger-LeCoultre

The relationship between Hermés and Jaeger-LeCoultre dates back nearly a century, when the first Hermés timepieces were supplied with Jaeger movements. In the late ’70s, however, the iconic French fashion house began producing its own time-keeping products, effectively halting a decades-old partnership with the Swiss horologists. It was something of a revelation then, when Jaeger-LeCoultre announced its latest collaborator as none other than Hermés, the result of which is a new iteration of the legendary Atmos Clock. Arguably the most celebrated line of desk clocks ever produced, the gas-fueled piece of horological history will also receive an update courtesy of a third party — Les Cristalleries de Saint-Louis. The glassblowing specialists created an air-blown, double-layer glass dome cut to create a dotted exterior, a breathtakingly beautiful shell that allows for a glimpse at the clock’s JLC-caliber 560a Atmos movement. In a limited quantity of 176, the Hermés Atmos Clock by Jaeger-LeCoultre will sell for a price of 30,000 Euros (approximately ,000 USD).

Zodiac styling shows up once again on the atmos x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Snake”. British duck camo lines this international release, composed of reptile on the upper and contrasted by black pump paneling. Orange accents and brands the collab, set to launch mid-March at atmos.

atmos x Reebok Insta Pump Fury – “Snake & British Camo”

As follow-up to its Nike Air Max 1 “Animal Camo” Pack, Tokyo-base retailer atmos will be introducing another “pattern on pattern” design, the atmos x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Snake & British Camo”. Seemingly an odd combination of designs at first, atmos’ creative team explained that the amalgamation actually reflects several aspects. First of course it the celebration of Chinese New Year and the year’s zodiac sign as the Year of the Snake. The “British camo” design element honors Reebok, which was formerly a British company before American investor Paul Fireman brought it in 1979. Limited in availability, the atmos x Reebok Insta Pump Fury “Snake & British Camo” will be available at around middle of March.

atmos x Nike WMNS Air Max 1 “Desert Camo/Leopard”

atmos in Tokyo adds their own flair to the Nike Air Max 1 for their latest collaborative offering. The aggressively designed silhouette features a mix of leopard and camo in various brown tones that extend from the toe to the heel of the sneaker. Gum outsoles bring a sense of the old school to the silhouette, while a soft white midsole brings the entire collection together. Look for the atmos x Nike WMNS Air Max 1 “Desert Camo/Leopard” at atmos.

atmos x Nike Air Max 1 – “Animal Camo” Collection

When atmos joins up with Nike to introduce a collaborative Air Max 1, the ensuing project is always something of an event. This upcoming Air Max 1 “Animal Pack” is no exception, with the venerable Nike heritage silhouette finished in two different variations of camo mixed with animal print. The men’s pair wears a black snakeskin base overlaid with green tiger camo, while its women’s counterpart features desert camo complemented with cheetah. Likely an atmos exclusive, the kicks are set to drop February 23rd, along with matching tees and caps. Check out detailed looks in the gallery below.

atmos x New Balance 996 “Face Off 3″ to Release at UBIQ

A few months go, we gave you a look at the atmos x New Balance 996 “Face Off 3″, and today we want to let you know the model will be making a retail appearance in the near future. A white perforated leather toebox is used to anchor the black side panels, lace stay, and heel, while purple is used over the liner. Black laces add to the somber tone and the “N” logo rests in white leather. Complete with a custom tongue and insole, the atmos x New Balance 996 “Face Off 3″ will release at UBIQ on Saturday, January 19.

atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Camo Pack

Japan’s atmos recently linked up with Nike to present an animal-inspired pack featuring the storied 25 year old silhouette. Presenting two intricately crafted versions of the Air Max 1, one features jungle camo and black snakeskin – while the other boasts a desert interpretation with playful leopard detailing. The atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Camo pack will be released in January both at atmos as well as at select Nike distributors.
