”He’s Really Good”
Wendy Williams is the queen of ratchet TV interviews. With Lauren London among the new cast members of “The Game” paying a visit to Williams’ talk show, the outspoken host decided to ask the actress about her status with rapper Lil Wayne and what its like raising their son. [No we're] no longer [together], great friends though,” London answered. “I think itâs difficult being a single parent period. For me, my job, luckily I can bring him to work.” Williams then asked Lauren about Wayne’s health. “Heâs great!” she shared. “His album comes out today. Heâs really good.” “More money for you, girl⦔ said Wendy. “I make my own though,” London replied. “My mother taught me well.” |
Beyoncé NAILS The National Anthem LIVE At SUPERBOWL Press Conference! (And Dishes Out Answers & Explanations)
Jan 31st

Just minutes ago at the Marc Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Beyoncé Knowles took the podium, in a white hot mini Tom Ford (shortened) dress, to participate in a press conference for her upcoming Pepsi Halftime Superbowl show. And she kicked it off by busting out a surprise LIVE rendition of the National Anthem. And nailed it. Clearly proving what we already know–she’s got the talent regardless.
Deets inside…
Beyonce, who just re-signed with the Pepsi company as its Global Brand Ambassador, spoke for the first time today about her show and the lip syncing drama. But first, she shut up the naysayers in the classiest way possible–by singing the National Anthem live, with no track.
And she ended with a laugh saying, "Thank you guys so much. Any questions?"
The gorgeous gal told the sea of press that she does feel nervous bout the show and got chills when she first drove past the Superdome because it’s so much history there. But since her family is from New Iberia, LA, she feels ready and comfortable for her performance as she’s leaving her own legacy.
And the "Countdown" diva bubbly answered the burning questions everyone’s been asking.

On her decision to pre-record her National Anthem at the Presidential Inauguration
I am a perfectionist. And one thing about me, I practice until my feet bleed. And I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live tv show and a very, very important, emotional show for me. One of my proudest moments. Due to the weather, due to the delay and lack of proper soundcheck, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the President and the Inauguration. And I wanted to make him and my country proud. So, I decided to sing along to a pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry. And I’m very proud of my performance.
On whether there will be a Destiny’s Child reunion during the halftime show
I can’t really give you any details. I’m sorry.
On whether she will sing live or to a track for her Superbowl halftime performance
I will absolutely be singing live. I am well rehearsed. And this is what I was born to do.
On whether the flack she caught for singing to her own track at the Inauguration affected what she will do in the future, like at the Grammys
It was always the plan to sing live for the Superbowl. And who said I was performing at The Grammys?
On the pressure of Inauguration vs. Superbowl halftime show
This weekend, I’m performing at the halftime show, and before, the event was not about me. I’ve moved on to focusing on this halftime show.

On why she decided to show more of Blue Ivy in her upcoming HBO documentary
I feel like my daughter has changed me and changed my life and given me so much purpose. This movie is very necessary and shows a human side. At some point, my job is to protect her. And I’m glad to tell the story on my terms.
On how she and Jay-Z spend their football Sundays
You would have to ask Jay-Z what he does. I’m usually on the computer, pulling references, and looking at my rehearsals. But I will say, I do go to sleep and wake up with a lot of football. I have the utmost respect for the players.
On the color of her toothbrush and why
I love this question! It’s blue….blue and white. Blue and yellow maybe? {Laughs}
On details of her intricate performance
There’s 7.5 mins for the volunteers to put the stage together. I met the volunteers and they’re so incredible. We’re all working together and I can’t give too much away. But every second matters and we’re WORKING. I had to condense my career into 12 minutes.
On when she’s going back on tour
Soon. I may have an announcement after the performance. And the fans should stay tuned to see.
On being nervous about her upcoming documentary
I am so nervous about putting that out. It was really interesting directing and editing mysef and seeing all the mistakes I’ve made. But still putting it in the film. I feel like it’s time for people to really get to know me. And to see a different side. I’m really curious and scared…but now it’s too late. I’m happy with it.
On what she’ll do to relax after the Superbowl
I’m going to be with my daughter. I miss her so much. I keep telling her, I’ll be right back at 9p on Sunday!

This will be the first ever crowd sourced introduction during a Superdome Halftime show–using pics from fans.
And despite a fake "rider" of Beyonce’s alleged demands hitting the net, the Superbowl Equipment staff has tweeted that she was the only celeb to stop and thank each person individually for helping develop her stage.
Sweet!

Lil Wayne Gives Outrageous And Entertaining Answers During Deposition
Sep 25th
By Carter Maness
Lil Wayne has long been known for his semi-crazy sense of humor, but a new deposition video that surfaced today is taking things to a new level. We’re still waiting for an official response on the validity of the clip, but Wayne, who is currently suing Quincy Jones III for unauthorized music usage in his 2009 documentary “The Carter,” is seen making an absolute mockery of Jones’ lawyer.
Wayne, reportedly being questioned by lawyer Pete Ross, tears into the simple questions before derailing the deposition entirely. When asked if he performed at the Virgin Mobile Music Fest in 2008 with Kanye West, Wayne goes off the reservation. “I don’t know,” he answers. “But I know I did this perform at this badass b—h birthday party recently. She was crazy stupid thick.”
Questioned about his career and criminal history, Wayne is hilariously evasive in the clip. He claims to not recall his infamous arrest and gun bust in new York, which of course eventually lead to a eight-month sentence at Rikers Island. He eventually becomes so despondent that he repeats “I don’t know” over and over without letting the questions even go through.
As things completely break down, Wayne issues a flippant threat to the lawyer. Referring to a judge mediating the deposition, Wayne says, “You know he can’t save you, right? In the real world, he can’t save you.” When asked what that means, he says, “I don’t have to elaborate on that.”
Wayne is suing Jones for using his music in the unapproved “The Carter” documentary without permission. With inside access, Wayne clearly knew about the filming but disowned the final product, at one point calling it a “scandalous portrayal” of his life.

Live: President Obama Uses Reddit To Answers The Public’s Questions
Aug 29th
If you ever wanted to ask President Obama a question, now is the time. The commander in chief is taking questions from the public via the site Reddit, and posted a picture in front of his laptop Wednesday (Aug. 29) to prove that he’s actually responding to questions. he also posted a message on the site.
Hey Everybody—this is barack. Just finished a great rally in Charlottesville, and am looking forward to your questions. At the top, I do want to say that our thoughts and prayers are with the folks who are dealing with Hurricane Isaac in the Gulf, and to let them know that we are going to be coordinating with state and local officials to make sure that we give families everything they need to recover.
The president addressed the nation yesterday about Hurricane Isaac and encouraged residents in the Gulf region not to “test fate” by sticking out the storm at home. Isaac was upgraded from a tropical storm, and made landfall in New Orleans on the seven-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
While the POTUS didn’t say how long he’ll be online taking questions, with a busy campaigning schedule and his other gig (running the country) it likely won’t be an all day event.

Does Blue Ivy Look Like Jay-Z? Beyonce Answers
Apr 26th

By Nicole Rosado
In March, singer Melanie Fiona relayed that Beyonce thought her daughter Blue Ivy Carter changes every day but looked just like her father Jay-Z. Rihanna agreed a few weeks later, by commenting that baby Blue was Jay-Z’s twin, but in her recent interview with People magazine, Bey says that Blue simply “looks like Blue.”
Beyonce was named People’s Most Beautiful Woman and during her interview for the cover story, she flipped the script a little bit. ”I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” Beyonce told the magazine. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”
Beyonce continued talking about her daughter, “she’s just the cutest thing,” adding that she makes up songs to sing just to Blue Ivy. In previous interviews when Beyonce was asked in the past who the baby resembled more, the answer was usually Jay-Z. In the newest interview with People Magazine, Bey responded, “She looks like Blue. She’s her own person.”

Look’s like Bey will be teaching Blue Ivy how to be independent at a very early age. ”The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy,” she explained. “The word ‘love’ means something completely different now.”
