Jordan Super.Fly 3 (3 Colorways)
Oct 2nd
Jordan Brand unveils the latest iteration of their performance basketball powerhouse sneaker, the Jordan Super.Fly 3. The team of designers worked with Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin in mind, crafting a sneaker that ensures optimal performance for any athlete as explosive and high-flying. The shoe arrives in three different colorways: Grey/Black/White, Teal/Pink/Black/Orange, and Black/White/Grey.
To get into further detail, the outsole pattern draws inspiration from the AJ XX9, while also providing the same reliable durability from the shoe. The shoe’s upper contains synthetic overlays that add additional structure on the toe and heel, as well as lightweight textile quarter panels to create a strong and durable exterior. Griffin’s movements on the court mimic something like a sonic boom, so the upper design brings the inspiration of the shoe to life in a vibrant pattern that is sure to be noticed as players run swiftly and take flight in the Jordan Super.Fly 3.
Available in stores and online now.
Nike KD7 “Good Apples”
Oct 1st
The much anticipated Nike KD7 “Good Apples” will be hitting stores this weekend and it’s a great looking colorway with an interesting story behind it. As the release’s nickname would imply, these kicks are inspired by apples. Kevin Durant, the shoe’s namesake, compares a basketball court to an apple orchard and shots to apples. He takes only the good shots/apples and leaves the bad ones. Given that Durant has won the NBA scoring title four out of the last five years, we would tend to give KD’s metaphor the benefit of the doubt. A mostly black upper is hit with Action Red (red apples) and Medium Mint (green apples) accents all around.
Via Nike:
The reigning MVP tailors his shooting drills around numerical imbalances and efficiency, with a philosophy based on prioritizing. This approach has become a fun competition within the game for Durant. “Let’s say you have 40 apples on your tree,” says Durant. “I could eat about 30 of them, but I’ve begun limiting myself to 15 or 16. Let’s take the wide-open three and post-up at the nail. Those are good apples. Let’s throw out the pull-up three in transition and the step-back fade away. Those are rotten apples.”
The Nike KD7 “Good Apples” drops on Saturday, October 4th, for $ 150 at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8am EDT). Check out the Launch Locator to see if a location near you will be carrying the “Good Apples.” The release will also be available in kids grade school sizes.

Jordan Super.Fly 3
Sep 30th
With basketball season just around the corner, Jordan Brand unveils the latest iteration of the performance basketball powerhouse, the Jordan Super.Fly 3. A team of designers, working with Blake Griffin as muse, created a game-tested design to ensure optimal performance capabilities powered by flight. With Griffin’s high-flying game being the inspiration to the design, the goal was to create a shoe that helps him jump even higher, with greater explosiveness. The team incorporated an evolved FlightPlate to provide the power for flight, while amplifying energy return from the Nike Zoom unit in the forefront.
The outsole pattern draws inspiration from the AJ XX9, with multidirectional traction, that provides durability and reliable response on a variety of surfaces. On the shoe’s upper, synthetic overlays add additional structure on the toe and heel, as well as lightweight textile quarter panels to create a strong and durable exterior. Inspired by a sonic boom, the upper design brings the inspiration of the shoe to life in a vibrant pattern that is sure to be noticed as players around the world take flight in the Jordan Super.Fly 3.
The shoe also features the Flight Web fit system, which creates a stabilizing lockdown and adds support during powerful cuts and jumps. The webbed straps wrap around the foot and integrate the laces for fit throughout the midfoot. A sock-like inner sleeve and padded Achilles notch on the upper delivers a comfortable all-over fit.
The Jordan Super.Fly 3 debuts this Wednesday, October 1st in four colors in stores and online for $ 140. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have these releases.

adidas Pure Boost “Monochrome City Blur”
Sep 27th
The adi Pure Boost “Monochrome City Blur” should look familiar to some. It is the greyscaled version of a Pure Boost we wrote about a couple weeks ago, appropriately named the “City Blur.” Sitting atop the uber comfortable white Boost midsole, the “Monochrome City Blur” upper contains an abstract black and white graphic of traffic moving through a city. Black branding and overlays help to calm the busy nature of the graphic while bright red accenting on the outsole and tongue gives the kicks some color.
The pair is available in stores now and online at Footlocker.com for $ 120.
