You may not have heard of the French custom motorcycle team at FCR, but after taking a look at what they created with the Triumph Bonneville Scrambler body, it’s safe to say they are now firmly planted on the map. The Triumph Scrambler always had a rugged personality, built with an eye toward hybrid on- and off-road riding, but FCR takes it to the next level with a high-mounted exhaust, off road tires, and a wider handle bar set to help you tackle any terrain you encounter. If that wasn’t enough to get your blood pumping and your heart racing, FCR decided to coat this animal with an army green paint paired with a leather seat and black wheels, capping off the masculine, rugged aesthetic. We’ve got more preview images of this FCR-tuned Triumph Bonneville Scrambler after the click, but feel free to head to the FCR website to learn more about their work.

MixShow Live 2013 Kicks Off in Atlanta

Thursday evening (August 8) marks the start of one hectic weekend in Atlanta. The annual MixShow Live DJ conference taking place at Atlanta’s W Midtown hotel is in its second year partnering with one of the city’s most influential DJ crews, The Core DJs. Within 24 months, MixShow Live has grown exponentially, most recently putting on a retreat in Las Vegas to which 50 Cent made a surprise appearance.

Last year, DJ Khaled passed through and not only did Grand Hustle general T.I. appear, but he performed a full set at the conference. For five days (August 8 – 12), the focus of MixShow Live will be on artists, DJs and executives within the Hip-Hop industry, making it one of Atlanta’s most anticipated events of the summer. From parties with the cast of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta to listening suites sponsored by Interscope and G-Unit Records, MixShow Live is as much for fans of the genre as it is for DJs.

Power Panels featuring tips and tools from the nation’s top radio programmers will cover some of the business aspect of the conference and showcases featuring sets from Ca$h Out, Schoolboy Q, Kidd Kidd and others will continue MixShow Live’s tradition of giving attendees a chance to catch artists in action.

Sunday (August 11) will feature two separate events sure to appeal to longtime rap fans. The stars of the Queens of Hip-Hop show include Roxanne Shante, Yo Yo, Monie Love, JJ Fad and others. Later in the evening, the R&B Legends event will showcase sets from Blackstreet, Con Funk Shun, Cameo and more.

This year’s MixShow Live is guaranteed to set standards while exceeding the expectations of those in attendance.

Macklemore Parties With Schoolboy Q In ‘Collard Greens’ Video

Schoolboy Q throws a party in his new video for “Collard Greens” and even Macklemore shows up to get down. Q dropped by “RapFix Live” on Wednesday (August 7) to premiere the new clip, which also features an appearance from Kendrick Lamar, who spits a bit of Spanish on the track.

“I have no idea what he said,” Q told MTV News of K.Dot’s bi-lingual verse. “And I had no idea he was gonna do that. I remember seeing him talking to a Spanish dude while he was writing it and he came up with that and I was very upset because he killed it.”

The TDE rapper still hasn’t settled on a release date for his new album Oxymoron because of sample clearance issues, but he promises features from all the members of Black Hippy, plus A$AP Rocky and more.

Wade Speyer x Vans Syndicate Sk8-Hi ’91 Pro “S” & Sk8-Low “S”

OG Vans team rider and West Coast skateboarding legend Wade Speyer is the subject of the latest limited edition release from Vans Syndicate as the imprint pays homage to the pioneering do-it-all skater. Just as smooth on the streets as he was on transitions, Speyer graced countless Thrasher covers and even landed the first documented trick at the late Hubba Hideout in San Francisco. His aggressive, fearless, all-terrain style ultimately paved the way for future Vans legends like John Cardiel and Tony Trujillo. As such, Speyer opted to work with two classically-inclined silhouettes – the Sk8-Hi and Sk8-Low. In both cases the silhouettes have been given the premium Pro “S” treatment while Speyer’s signature flannel lines the interior of the grey suede and canvas uppers. Complete with a custom graphics package, the limited edition pack is now available at Vans Syndicate stockists.
