Maison Martin Margiela x H&M 2012 Fall/Winter Collection Announcement

No sooner was it rumored that a potential collaboration would take shape between iconic fashion label Maison Martin Margiela and H&M, today the two unveil their official plans for a forthcoming Fall/Winter 2012 collection. Building on the continuing trend of high fashion-meets-fast fashion projects, the collection will pair the influence and importance of the Margiela name with the Swedish retailers ever expanding resume of collaborations which have seen the likes of Lanvin, Marni, COMME des GARCONS and Jimmy Choo. While detailed descriptions, imagery and information is still forthcoming, the duo also unveil a short video teaser which gives nod to the collection’s aesthetic while also denoting the anticipated November 15, 2012 date.
