10 Rappers That Can Inspire Scott Storch To Get Off The Yayo
Feb 22nd
If music is the main squeeze of Hip-Hop culture, then drugs are its mistress. Drug addiction is nothing new to the game, but every once in a while things get out of hand and people end up in need of an intervention. While Snoop is perhaps the most open about his devotion to marijuana, he’s also one of the few rappers whose favorite past time—which is perfectly legal in his homes state of California with a medical marijuana card—hasn’t gotten out of control.
Then there are those who are not so lucky. Members of the Hip-Hop community who not only let drugs take over and sometimes end their lives, but just can’t seem to break away from the grip of addiction. The latest person to make headlines for this is producer Scott Storch. Once a sought after track master, as of late, Storch has been busted numerous times for powder possession, and even blew threw his estimated million fortune since allegedly getting hooked on drugs back in 2006. In hopes that Storch can somehow turn his life around, here are 10 rappers he can look to for inspiration.
Clicks on the #’s below to see examples Scott Storch, a former member of The Roots, or anyone strung out, allegedly, can use to get right.
WWE Star CM Punk Invites Chris Brown To A Brawl
Feb 22nd

By Jocelyn Vena
It’s an interesting time for Chris Brown. With several career highs, which include a Grammy win and performance at the show earlier this month, come several personal lows, including feuds with two other celebrities.
On Tuesday, Brown took to Twitter to address some comments made by WWE wrestler CM Punk in a video he released on TMZ, which itself came in response to an ongoing Twitter feud the guys have been having.
“I’m a lifelong proud, drug-free, straight-edge individual, so Chris and I come from two completely different worlds,” Punk said in the video, referring to a previous tweet Brown had posted accusing Punk of taking steroids. “I don’t have a manager, I don’t have a bodyguard, I don’t have an assistant, I have no need for a PR team what to tweet or when to delete tweets, and I don’t hit women. Period. In my world women are to be revered and respected and I firmly believe that in this life there are consequences and repercussions for people’s actions, and I don’t think Chris has paid for what he’s done. Picking up trash on the side of a highway does not make amends for repeatedly striking a woman in her face and sending her to hospital.
“So if Chris wants to throw stones my way now, I say that’s fine. Let’s put some gloves out and get in the ring and I will choke you out and I will make you feel as weak and as powerless and scared and alone as any woman who has had the misfortune of knowing a sad, cowardly, little boy such as yourself. And all proceeds can go to a women’s shelter of my choosing … Chris Brown isn’t a man and that’s fine. I just know that someday, somewhere, somehow, somebody will put Chris Brown exactly where he belongs and that obviously doesn’t have to be me, I would just really like it to be.”
After the video was released, Brown responded, “@ the video u just posted was cute! It’s so funny how defensive u are. And the fact that I really don’t know who you are and could give a sh– is the funny part! I miss the real wrestlers! (Hacksaw Jim duggan, Brett the hitman heart, coco beware, rowdy roddy piper) #Notnopunks.”
Several tweets later, he brought it back to Punk, but noted that he would no longer be addressing the issue. “Note: today will be the last day I bring @ existence up! The confrontations that people continuously bring my way are very amusing,” he wrote. “Cuz honestly, that sh– is too time consuming to argue wit every person who has their own issues to deal with!”
It all started on February 20, when Punk tweeted about Brown’s 2009 assault of his then-girlfriend Rihanna. From there, the two became involved in a Twitter back-and-forth. Since Brown’s last tweet about the video, as of press time, Punk has not tweeted about it again.

Monica and Brandy Plot Joint Tour
Feb 22nd

Music is not the only thing Brandy and Monica are collaborating on. Following the release of their first record in 14 years, the former rivals are eyeing a joint tour for the summer.
Monica shared the news during an interview with Hot 93.7’s Jenny Boom Boom. “We’re dedicated to a tour in the summer,” she revealed.
They’ve put aside their differences and recently shot a video for their Rico Love-produced single “It All Belongs to Me,” which will appear on both of their upcoming albums. “Looking back at it, it was so silly and so juvenile that we’re dedicated to this song in a different way,” said Monica.
While nothing has been finalized, they’re optimistic that the tour will come to fruition. “We’re working on that now and trying to find different sponsors and people that will get us in the cities we feel like we should be in, so it’s not just as easy as saying it, but we’re actually putting forth the effort to try and make sure it happens.”
When “The Boy Is Mine” was released in 1998, they were unable to enjoy their success together. “We’re dedicated to this song in a different way because now we’re old enough to know that there’s strength in unity and there’s strength in numbers, so us coming together is actually enjoyable now,” explained Mo. “We both have kids, we talk about them, we have a good time—we didn’t do that the first time. We never experienced ‘The Boy Is Mine.’”
Monica’s seventh album New Life is due April 10, while Brandy’s RCA/Chameleon Records debut is scheduled for a May release.
