Nike Toki Vintage

Building on its casual appearance, the Toki Vintage gets an understated off-white sail colorway across its canvas upper, which continues into its plush inner-lining and onto its distressed rubber sole. It doesn’t get more cleaner than this; especially with tonal Swoosh branding, metallic eyelets, and laces. Follow us after the jump for additional looks at this Nike Sportswear release, which is available now after Size?.

Roy Lichtenstein’s “Sleeping Girl” Sells for $44.8 Million
May 14th
Recently, Roy Lichtenstein’s Sleeping Girl from 1964 sold for a record-breaking .8 million USD at Sotheby’s Evening Sale of Contemporary Art. The comic book-inspired and postwar American art phenomenon beat last year’s record sale of .2 million USD set at Christie’s back in November. Tobias Meyer, director of Sotheby’s contemporary art department worldwide and the evening’s auctioneer, said after the sale, “Great icons make great prices.” Sleeping Girl has not appeared on the market since it was purchased by noted West Coast collectors and philanthropists Beatrice and Phillip Gersh from the Ferus Gallery in 1964. In the 48 years since its purchase, the painting has been exhibited only once – in the 1989-1990 Museum of Contemporary Art exhibition “Selections.” You know what they say, blondes really do have more fun
