Though we’ve seen it on court already, namely on the feet of DeMarcus Cousins at Team USA Camp, the Nike LeBron Zoom Soldier 8 “USA” will hit stores this weekend. The “USA” version of the Soldier 8 is officially a white/white-obsidian-university red release and its unmistakably patriotic. A white and obsidian mesh upper is Hyperfused together to create a flexible, breathable, durable, and – most importantly – lightweight sneaker. A university red strap, which has become a staple of the Soldier line, sits over the laces and under the blue and red LeBron branding. The obisidan midsole is interrupted by red teeth poking up from the outsole. Look for the Nike Zoom Soldier VIII “USA” on the feet of some of the Team USA’s brightest Nike-sponsored stars at the end of the month in Spain and this Saturday, August 9th at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker, and Footlocker.com (starting at 8am EDT) for $ 130.
If graduating school is a way to prove that you’ve done all that is necessary to move on to the next step of your life then consider Saturday graduation day for the Air Jordan Future because it is being given what all Jordan sneakers must have before they can be considered great: a Bred colorway. One of the most popular Jordan colorways will finally grace one of JB’s most promising young shoes when it releases at House of Hoops by Foot Locker on Saturday, August 9th. A black criss-crossed woven upper is set off by reflective 3M stitching and sits above an identical white midsole and semi-translucent red outsole as the Air Jordan XI. Red suede takes care of the heel piece, tongue and, and inner lining that is accented by a red smooth leather tab bearing the Jumpman logo at the top of the tongue.

The highly-anticipated Air Jordan 6 Retro “Spizike” pays tribute to Spike Lee and his 40 Acres and a Mule production company. The build features a tonal leather upper dressed in Varsity Red, accented with touches of Classic Green and a contrast white midsole sitting atop an icy translucent outsole. Serving as a companion sneaker to the shoe’s design inspiration, the Jordan Spizike OG, the graphic lining is very similar to the OG. On Thursday a four pack of Nike Hyperdunk 2014s will drop that pays tribute to four meccas of American basketball: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Washington DC. In October 2006, Jordan Brand unleashed one of its most successful Retro hybrids to date onto the sneaker world in the form of the Spizike – a nod to the Retro models that Spike Lee helped to endorse. Combining elements of the Air Jordan III, IV, V, VI, and XX, the Spizike will return in its original White/Cement Grey-Classic Green-Varsity Red colorway on Saturday, August 9th. The shoes upper is mostly smooth white leather with cement elephant print on the heel and red elephant print on the toe. Red accents can also be found on the midsole and Jordan branding. Classic green accents can be found on a stylized sock liner as well as the graphics on the heel. The OG Spizike features a nod to Spike on the left heel in the form of his Mars Blackmon character and the right heel in the form of his 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks production company’s logo.
The Jordan Spizike OG will drop on Saturday, August 9th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $ 175. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release.
The Nike Zoom Soldier 8′s stock continues to rise in the eyes of fans everywhere, since LeBron opted to rock them more often than his signature shoe in this past season’s playoff run. In this rendition, the sneaker gets a “USA” treatment which is done with mature and cool composure rather than a loud mix which sometimes happens with patriotic color schemes. Leather takes the backseat for this one, as synthetics structure the entire upper, seen most strikingly on a university red strap and Dynamic Flywire of the same shade. Obsidian outlines the model’s sharp lines, with white residing on the base and branding.

It’s always a big deal when an industry classic is released in its OG colorway so everyone stop what you are doing at once and mark down August 7th on your calendars because the OG White/Lyon Blue/Bold Berry/Black is back! Originally released in 1992 and made famous by the Fab Five at the University of Michigan, the Huarache was a staple on and off the hardwood in the early 90s, and was embraced by the Wolverines for its lack of in-your-face branding apparent on the shoe. One of Tinker Hatfield’s most well known collaborations, the Huarache has enjoyed a number of retro releases since then and continues to resonate with sneaker lovers, generations after it hit stores for the first time. The Huarache combines smooth white leather that accounts for most of the upper with classic 90s blues and purples that take care for the neoprene booty for an ultra comfortable fit. The tongue and the heel counter are the only places that Nike puts branding on this shoe and they are subtle at best.
The Nike Air Flight Huarache OG “Bold Berry” will drop on Thursday, August 7th at House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8:00 a.m. EDT) for $ 115. To find out which store near you will carry the shoe and if that store will implement the sweepstakes ticket procedure, please visit the Foot Locker Launch Locator.
