Nike Kobe 9 “Game Royal”
Jun 22nd
It’s widely known that Kobe Bryant has an affinity for “futbul,” or soccer as we call it here in the states. As the soccer world descends upon Brazil this month for the World Cup, it’s fitting that his latest Kobe 9 drop this weekend draws its inspiration from the wild cacophony of South American street art. The newest Kobe 9 Low features features a combination of Game Royal, white and Venom Green along with an engineered mesh texture for breathability. The array of patterns showcased on the upper mix and match to give this shoe a distinct, dynamic look. Pick up a pair starting this Thursday, June 19th at Foot Locker, House of Hoops by Foot Locker and Footlocker.com (starting at 8am EDT) for $ 160. Check the Launch Locator to see which stores will have this release.
Nike Kobe 9 EM ‘Game Royal’
Jun 22nd
The Nike Kobe 9 EM ‘Game Royal’ is perhaps one of the most loud and attention-grabbing designs we’ve seen from this silhouette, as it works in a mixture of blue, green and yellow with various patterns included. A testament to the Engineered Mesh’s ability to take on any print thinkable, it’s the capability of dynamic imagery that sets the sneaker apart from its peers. The artistic nature of the Kobe 9 takes inspiration from street art in South America as evidenced by the blend of shapes and colors on the upper.
Releasing online only this Thursday.
Nike LeBron 11 ‘South Beach’
Jun 21st
The Nike LeBron 11 “South Beach” pays homage to the King’s decision to sign with the Miami Heat four years ago. Four years later, he’s revamped the organization into a powerhouse: four straight NBA finals appearances with two championship rings. The “South Beach” color way was seen on the LeBron 8 in 2010, the colorway has become somewhat of a classic for the LeBron franchise. The sneaker is executed with teal on the paneled Hyperposite upper, accented with bold pink at the lace loops and tongue. James’s hallmark lion icon details the lace area, completing this homage to Miami’s colorful culture.
